The Plague Wagons are all around the Carrion Fields. The entrance to the Mausoleum is at 85.50.

Currently bugged on Lightbringer, confirmed it with a GM. You can't drop off the soldiers at the mausoleum. They are working on the issue.

Something hilarious you can do with this quest: if you're on a pve server, you can drive the tank around and find horde players and use the soldiers in the front to kill them, and you dont get flagged or anything, totally hysterical

might want to note that this is a building in the middle of the fields at 85.7 49.9. the little hole in the ground at 82 50 is not where you drop off the npcs. took me forever to get this right

Ok

1. Get in the tank
2. Click 1. to kill anything that attacks you.
3. If the attackers get close click 2. This will freeze them in place so you can back up & hit 1 to kill them.
4. Once you are near the Plague Wagon, click 3. This will dispatch a gnome from your tank. The gnome will destroy the plague Wagon.
5. When you go to the building in the middle of the fields at 85.7 49.9, hit 4 to dispatch the soldiers from your tank. They will take care of that business.
6. Destroy your last Plague wagon as described above.

This quest is fun for driving around and shooting, but really ticked me off as far as 'WHAT THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!"

And YES, I DID read the quest. Don't even start!

If you try to dispatch your gnomes and they won't come out, log out and turn off your addons. This is also the case for the quest where you pick up the helpless villagers, and "I've got a flying machine!"

A couple things can go wrong when doing this quest.

Your action bar can be off, (if you use a third-party bar mod, such as Bartender) which is remedied by holding, SHIFT and using your mouse wheel to scroll through bars.

Also;
1. You can leave your tank, and hop in a new one.
2. Abandon quest, leave tank, accept quest, get in tank.
3. (Last resort) Log-out, log-in.

Note: It'd be wise to avoid players of the opposite faction. There are two gunners on the er... bow of your tank. They will automatically target and fire upon said player for very little damage.

Luckily, the player can defend itself by casting or attacking you, directly -- not the cute tank with thousands of 'HP'.

This causes you to be jettisoned from the tank and killed, having to start over.

While doing this quest I got my tank stuck sideways on one of the wagons, so I abandoned quest to startover with a new one, but am no longer able to get on tha gryphons in Wintergarde to be dropped Into Hostile Territory.....how do I get tha quest again?

Wrong the Crypt located at 85.7, 49.9 is not considered outside of the Carrion Fields, it's no where near outside of it. It's straight down the hill from the place where you get the siege tank.

Wrong^2. The crypt is located outside Carrion Fields and will dismount you. You have few seconds to dismount and deliver the tank. You are correct about where the building is located.

The other thing to note is you want to be sure and drop off the guys (number 4) not just abandon your vehicle.

Just for a laugh I tried to attack Kreug Oathbreaker in the tank for the quest to kill him. Unfortunately only the soldiers on the tank can damage him (the tank attacks - zay do nothing!) and he will melee the soldiers so they will die quickly.

I can confirm that now, at 85,49 where I dropped the soldiers off, you do NOT get the "out of bounds" warning and can safely drop them off with no problems.

The most interesting thing you learn from this quest lore-wise is when the 7th Legion Engineer in your tank says:

"Did I ever tell you soldiers about the time I destroyed the Thandol Span? Yep, weren't no dark irons destroyed that bridge. Was me!"

Since the engineer you drop off by the button on your action bar is a Gnome...

This means that half destroyed bridge of the Thandol Span was taken out by a Gnome, and an Alliance one at that! What if this had been known during the time of the Dark Iron quests?

Tanks are located at 90,46.

Took me a while to find them, quest description doesn't give you any hints on the location of the tanks.

be sure to destroy all of the wagons before you drop off the 7th legion as you will lose the tank. you can run back and get another one to finish up but since you turn in the quest IN the Mausoleum just better to get them all to begin with.

Ran in to a bug where if u dispatch the gnome, it just stands still and the cauldron despawns with no credit. But the first one always works. Got around the bug by having to go back for a new siege vehicle every cauldron.

Steamtank Surprise

Use an Alliance Steam Tank to destroy 6 Plague Wagons and deliver the 7th Legion Elites to Wintergarde Mausoleum. Speak with Ambo Cash inside the Wintergarde Mausoleum in Dragonblight should you succeed.

Descrizione

This is a seek and destroy mission. You'll be driving a tank into the Carrion Fields to dismantle Scourge plague wagons. With the tank comes a crew of three 7th Legion soldiers. All must survive if this mission is to succeed!

You'll need to get in close to a plague wagon to unleash your engineer. Let them do their deed and move on to the next one. When the field is clear of plague wagons, head to the mausoleum in front of the ruined keep and drop off the rest of your crew. Meet with Ambo Cash inside.
