The mobs are deep into the cavern.
You can do this quest along with https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=12265
37,32 is the exact coords for the entrance to the cavern.
Some mobs inside put fire in the floor so be careful moving so you don't take that much damage.

These quests given by Serinar, are also great for collecting frostweave cloth!

After you fight your way back there and do the 2 quests, then fight your way back, he sends you all the way to the back again to get Rothing the Decaying and douse the flame. IMO, it's nothing but annoying and tiring to do the same thing again and again. I'm thankful I have done these quests on other characters of mine, so I know what's coming and usually just skip them.
