Take the bridge north of Amberpine lodge to the west side of the river.
Follow the path until you see purple ground on either side of the path, this is where the the Graymist hunters are.

You can also take care of this quest right next to the cedar chest needed for Local Support. Coords are 16.6, 65.9

There are several of them milling about in the field nearby.

While the above place may be a viable spot for knocking out all six of the required hunters, I found the required beasts by taking a path south of Amberpine Lodge until I reached a fork... take the fork to the west and cross the bridge. Before you reach Conquest Hold, you'll find the necessary wolves.

They are not at all hard enemies, either. As a level 73 retribution paladin, I was able to round up all six and down them all in one fight. The first time I almost died I used Divine Shield and healed myself back to maximum health. The second time, I used Lay on Hands to restore myself to fighting condition, and when I was almost finished the third time I downed a Runic Healing Potion. All six went down soon after.

As if we didn't have enough to concern ourselves with....

With the present food crisis, we find ourselves competing for food with the local worgs. The situation is becoming more dire, and I fear that if we don't address the issue immediately we'll soon find ourselves with nothing to hunt.

Scour the forest, <race>. Kill any graymist you find. Recent reports have sighted a concentration of them on the other side of the river west of here.
