Three steps to this quest:

Collect the offering inside the first large room in the ruins
Use the Drakkari Spirit Dust that the quest-giver gave you to infuse the offering
Run out to the gongs just outside the ruins and click the infused offering

Seems like someone out of party can do this quest. I walked to the idol or whatever in the center of the ruins, and it said I destroyed him.

After you use the Drakkari Spirit Dust on the gongs outside, look for the Infused Drakkari Offering in your inventory and use that on the gongs.

this is the best quest for rogues if you wanna level lockpicking. after you kill him, about 30 yellow (neutral) guys run out, and half of them stay for a bit in a circle. you can pick picket all of them before they despawn, i got 4 lockboxes and 2 pots.

Umm Yeah as a SPECIAL NOTE to Deathknights this a non-combat finish you dont have to fight that BIG dude he shrinks after eating the poison offering he then dies all on his own! DO NOT repeat DO NOT do what I did which was prep for a battle by dropping a DnD down to generate runic power... what will happen will be your death as the neutral trolls run out and cross you still kicking DnD welcome to mass chaos and certain death! =-X

The object you need to loot is Sacred Drakkari Offering. The above comment says "in the ruins". It is the underground cave with neutral trolls where you did the prerequisite of this quest. After you enter the "large room", bear right 45 degrees.

Same Warning for Paladins......

Do not try to attack the Warlord at the tunnel entrance! You can not attack him, but you will aggro the two spirits. Do not drop a consecrate, or you will catch every single last Neutral mob that runs out in it, you will be sorry. You have been warned.

This may be a fluke, but when I clicked the imbued offering, it immediately said Warlord Jin'arrak Destroyed. No fight at all. Perhaps an undocumented change with the new patch?

I dont understand, this quest appears to be bugged for me as of patch 3.1.2.

I collect the offering and click the quest item at the gongs, but nothing happens.

I have abandoned the quest and retried several times but nothing seems to work.
Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Edit: It's not actually bugged, you just need to make sure you're really close to the large fire in the middle of the gongs when you use the quest item.

I was near some Alliance (I'm Horde) who were doing the quest, and they completed the quest. When they completed the quest, I got credit for it. I suppose if you are just in the area of the objective you'll get credit for it.

Yeah you can finish the quest if you're near someone that's doing it. Took me a while to figure that out. Roaming the crypts trying to find the damn thing lol.

Try to not prepare to kill the big troll by placing any ground aoe. You will die.

haha, I did something quite moronic, I used consecration (Im a pala) and thought he was going to fight me and when the 30 neutral guys comes running out they all get hurt and starts to attack me... Epic fail!

Might help to kill those two serpent guardians on the way in, in case -- one attacked me as i flew by and i had to dispatch him before i could go into the crypt.

I've tried this 3Xs: I've got the dust from the quest giver. I get the basket from the cave, I go to the altar and click on the dust. The dust and the Basket disappear and then... NOTHING HAPPENS! What's with THAT?

I can find Jin'arrak nowhere. I place items at altar. Nothing. I'm assuming this is yet another quest I am going to have to retry a dozen times before it completes correctly. WTH?

Okay so you gotta get a fruit basket first.. it is at 71,19 then go to the alter ( which is right in front of the entrance to the crypt). What messed me up was that on my way in someone killed the dude and my quest was completed so I couldnt loot the basket which threw me off. Alot of other people where having this problem too.

Confirmed

Go to 71.20 for the fruit and use the packet on it. Go to the Gong at 71.24 and place the offering. No killing involved aside from clearing the area. Nothing to loot. Neat play of the ancients running out and dancing.

Jin'arrak's End

Kraz at Harkor's Camp wants you to collect the Sacred Drakkari Offering from the Drakil'jin Ruins and use the Drakkari Spirit Dust on it. You must use the Infused Drakkari Offering at the gongs outside of Drakil'jin Ruins.

A sacred offering lies somewhere inside the crypt. Take this spirit dust fashioned from the remnants you collected and use it on the offering.

The infused offering will bring an end to the corrupted warlord and will release the many tormented souls.
