The Ice Revenants are found on the frozen lake, the Mirror of Dawn, which is large enough to be shown on the map, just east of Wyrmrest.

Get one down to 35% and use the quest item. While you're channeling, the Revenant will be lifted up into the air and when the channel is over, it will hit the ground dead and lootable.

If you are a caster and doing this quest you cannot have any dots on the mob at the time you use the crystal or you do not get credit for the quest.

Alright! Since all these quests are available at the same time...

Fill the Ice gem at 67 , 53 using Ice Revenants ( Ice Revenant )
Fill the Blood gem at 40 , 65 using Deranged Indu'le Villagers (Deranged Indu'le Villager)
Fill the Unholy gem at 46, 50 using Duke Vallenhal (Duke Vallenhal)

Find one of these mobs, beat them down to 35% (be mindful of dots!) and then use the proper gem.

Good to do the following macro so you don't have to keep in mind which of the gems to fill. If you use the questionmark as icon it will show when to use it as well:

/use Blood Gem
/use Unholy Gem
/use Frost Gem

Also also also! If you're a hunter, keep your cursor on the "passive" setting for your pet and be prepared to have fun with the timing. I waited until the mob was at about half health, made my bear heel, shot at the mob 'til it aggroed to me, then popped the gem. Wewt, easy!

In service of blood/frost both gave me 22550 exp (at lvl 74), but Unholy gave me 28214 experience.

Rogues turn of your poisons or you risk killing him to fast. This is one time when having to much DPS is a bad thing.

What you need to do:

Go to a Revenant and attack him until he is 15% health, the right click on the frost gem and it will do the rest of the work.

the revenants are all around 67,54, and it only takes one to pull off this quest.

For those in WotLK Classic, when doing this in a party you can put a timer down and have everyone use the gem at the same time and it will give credit for all of you.
