Make sure to dismount first. If you dont the corpse will disappear without you looting anything.

Be sure to open the Mage Personal Effects Bags you loot from the corpses. I looted a dozen before it occurred to me. The Moonrest Gardens Plans are in the bags.

To complete this quest you have to go around looting dead mage hunters You don't kill anybody -- they are already dead.

Each of them will drop mage hunter personal effects. Open these until you loot the quest item from one.

You also want to make sure you have free bag space, as you only get to loot once before they disappear.

QuestHelper 0.68 is bugged, says you need to kill Dragonblight Mage Hunters. You don't, you need to find the Dead Mage Hunter corpses on the ground, simply dismount and loot them, opening the bags until you get the plans.

Go southwest of the place you pick up the quest, to a place called "Moonrest Gardens".

When you are there, look for friendly corpses of human or dragonkins, called Dead Mage Hunters. Loot them and you will recieve Mage Hunter Personal Effects wich has a chance to drop Moonrest Gardens Plans, the thing about this is, you have to dismount before it works to right click to loot, cause you won't auto dismount. And also note that it does not loot every time so don't think theres something wrong because of that.

I thought this quest was bugged for a while because the bodies were just disappearing without a loot window. Then I realized my bags were filled with little lootable bags, apparently they just appear in your inventory without any kind of loot window appearing.

Near these Dead Mage Hunters is a quest giver at 24.2, 60.1. Ethenial Moonshadow is her name and she gives https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=12006 which is done in the area of 21.9, 62

When you click on the bodies, you'll get a "bag" in your bag -- open this bag up to see if you receive the item.

Didn't take me too long, about 15 minutes. I ended up going through about 10-12 bags to find it. While you are here be sure to speak with the dark purple ghost and pick up the quest Avenge this Atrocity! while you are here.

Found it on my twenty first bag. I gave up and realized I had one more bag in my inventory and low and behold there it is :0

Then my friend came and did it and got it on his third bag. I've always been unlucky with WoW it seems, but taking twice the number of bags is a bit ridiculous.

if you're a druid, you can make easy money from this quest. just fly around in flight form and loot the corpses. can make around 300g in a hour just by selling the grays to a vendor :)

The first post is correct. You don't kill anything to get the garden plans, you loot them off of already dead mages. The mage corpses are north by northeast of the fissure where Arcanus is. might have to kill some spirits that haunt near the bodies, but it's the already dead bodies you want to loot through.

Waste of time. Even completed the 2 quests the neutral mob gives in that area. Of course, that's what Blizzard wants us to do...waste time and accomplish very little.

Loot the already dead mages in the area aroun 24.57... Bugged me for a little while, i got it on the 14th loot...

Quest helper is a wonderful addin for questing... until it is wrong.

Correct coords for these are around the area of 25, 62 not where QH currently shows it at 32, 63 or so. You DO NOT need to kill for these. Loot the bodies on the ground then open the bags you get.

I had to loot A LOT of bodies to finally find one. I think any body will work but the one that worked for me was near the temple on the ice by Ethenial Moonshadow.

Descrizione

The Moonrest Gardens to the southwest were the final resting place of a noble group of Highborne elves. It was also a powerful ley line nexus.

The blue dragonflight used a magical device they call a surge needle to destroy that nexus, freeing the power to redirect at their will.

I need more information and I hope that you will get it for me.

After the upheaval at the ruins, the ghosts of the Highborne rose up and decimated half of the mage hunters present. Go rifle their corpses for clues.
