get the 5 axes and then go down to the Nexus in the middle and run around the outside...get the eggs...but you will be attacked by the pink flying thingies...

Do this quest along with Keep The Secret Safe since the pink flying things are the Arcane Serpents you need to kill for that quest.

This quest makes zero sense on so many levels:

If we are to remain hidden, why do we SLAY the local wyrmkin?
We are told to steal their axes.
Then use those axes to BREAK their EGGS. How the hell will their axes make a difference? Trust me, we're strong enough with our spells, swords, axes, guns and so on. That's the dumbest explanation I've ever seen in a quest. :-) "Slay the local wyrmkin and use their frozen axes to break the eggs".

Easy quest if you go to the northwestern part of the Nexus ridge, there is a clump of 4 eggs, and a bit more north you have 3 more.

Just my own personal observation.. the eggs appear to be covered with rather..sharp...looking crystals - if I were a blue dragon mother I'd be rather cranky too! LOL

Just head to the Nexus meeting stone and you can kill the needed Wyrmkin on the way, getting an axe from each to break the eggs. Also good to do this quest as well https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=11914 , killing the Arcane Serpents near ths stone as well.

When you get interrupted while breaking the egg, the axe will get consumed. So be carefull for the Arcane Serpents if you don't want to go up and kill Wyrmkins again.

Axes Dropped from the Coldarra Wyrmkins. (26, 34) is a good spot.

There are eggs all around the Nexus instance entrance. Get to the summoning stone and look around the circular path.

1) You will need to kill the <whatever> Wyrmkin to get a Frozen Axe -
2) The Frozen Axe drops off of every <whatever> Wyrmkin that you kill -
3) You need 5 axes to open 5 eggs
