LOL, this was great! You "use" the item in your bag and all of a sudden you double over as if you are having a horrendous stomach problem and then you shrink really small. You stay that way for about 5 seconds and then the effect wears off, at which time you return to normal size while letting out a raunchy belch that would rival the one in "Revenge of the Nerds" I was that far away from ROFLMFAO

Clearly a reference to game Portal. In this game, you are a test subject and at the ending scene GLaDOS (boss) says:

That thing is probably some kind of raw sewage container. Go ahead and rub your face all over it.

When i read "A Suitable Test Subject" and when Bloodmage Laurith whispers: "How positively awful! You were totally incapacitated? Weak? Hot Flashes?" it reminds me of Fallout 3 and Moira Brown.... I doubt its a reference but it reminds me of it.
