Get into the Siege Tank and drive south and the onto the brownish plains. Tilt your pitch all the way down to shoot your Demoralizer directly in front of you. The mines are invaluable. Run over barrels to get more energy (mana).

Right now the quest is bugged, injured soldiers spawn rate is insanely low, pretty much worth avoiding atm.

Seems to pick up the injured soldiers fine when they're in combat and less than 40%.

The rest i just kind of spammed right click and ran over lots of barrels. Kel'thuzad is in the direct middle of the field.

Definately bugged.

Relatively easy and very fun quest.

Hop on tank (use the bent arrow icon and click the tank).
Ride to the plains gather mobs and use one of the 4 attack spells the tank has to kill the mobs. Watch the tank's mana as it goes pretty fast.
Between mob slaughter, target the Injured Warsong Soldier NPCs and use the spell #5 on toolbar
Ride to the boss in the middle to identify Scourge Leader

Absolutely fun quest,you'd never expect a mechanic like this in WoW. I just rammed into mobs and used the Meatsaw Ability. Basicly sawed like 12 mobs at once,Lol. Good fun,really enjoyed this quest.

Of course when i finished i ejected and safely fell to the ground.

Found a bug in beta, currently you can rescue the soldiers out of other people's tanks.
All injured soldiers i saw looked like Tauren shamans.

I had to disable the few addons that I had enabled on beta to get the actions to work while in the siege tank. Once I did that it worked like a charm. Worth 30150 experience.

Rescuing units will pick them up, and they'll fight for you from on the tank.

You can also get a full refill on mana by ejecting from the tank and getting a new one, with no loss of progress on the quest.

Some tips:
(1) The tanks DO bug for a lot of people, making it so that you can't use any actions, REGARDLESS of whether you run addons or not (stop saying "I had to disable addons", that's not the cause, it's a game bug). So if your tank doesn't respond to any commands on the hotbar, a quick relog is all it takes to fix it!
(2) The first attack on the hotbar costs a LOT of mana but has quite a bit of carnage potential, what you should do is hold Ctrl and roll the mousewheel down to aim right infront of yourself, then round up like 20 enemies, having them stand in front of you in a clump, THEN use it. It has a small radius but huge damage, so this way you can blow up a lot.
(3) Your tank has three seats in front, and if you select an Injured Warsong X, they take up one of those seats. If you pick up an engineer, it makes the tank faster, if you pick up a shaman they fight, and so on. I recommend taking 2 engineers, that way you can use the tank to ride very fast southeast to reach Karuk AFTER you are done with the tank quest. Karuk is the next quest after this one, and I recommend using the tank to get there to save time.

Bugged...when you exit the vehicle you fall to your death. I only saw the parachute come out once.

Small notice, if you have Path of Frost active as a death knight, your tank will NOT get the ability bonuses you gain for picking up the Injured Soldiers (like Speed from the Engineers, or Armor from the Warriors). Won't make the quest any harder, just is a little annoying.

What I find stupid is when you hand in the quest to Garrosh, he acts all pro like he knows that naxxramas and Kel'thzard is all about, yet he didn't even know of the horde or azeroth until after the events of wow beta, so he never would have seen naxx.

Nobody seemed to mention it and I stumbled across this by accident .... your tank has a health bar and mana bar. The mana is required to use any of the tank's abilities. If you don't have enough mana then the action buttons will "grey out" and become unusable. If this happens, drive around and you'll come across wooden barrels sitting all around the area. These are fuel barrels, drive over one (you have to hit them just right so it may take a couple of attempts) and when you hit it just right your tank will become refueled and you'll gain back a certain percentage of your health and mana, thus making your action bars usuable again.

As a side note, I was kind of leary when I got this quest, driving a tank and all made it sound like it was going to be hard, but it turned out to be really fun. Now I wish they had increased the required kills from 100 to maybe 300. It was just too cool using that buzz saw to drive through a group of soldiers and seeing the blood fly!

Just figured it out... have to hit the fuel drums..

Also, there's a bug with the tanks, if you make it go out of the plains and eject you, it keeps the buff on you as if you're still in it, meaning that nothing can attack you and you can't attack anything.. interesting.

Note: If you have this quest, ANY scourge kills in borean tundra count, whether you are on a tank or not. Found this out when I got called away, and went and did the mapping the sinkholes quest out of Taunka first before coming back to this one.

If you do this quest during the valentine's even you can get a ton of Lovely Charm's. Just keep getting new siege vehicles if you run out of juice. Got myself over 500 charm's in 30 min.

Incase you run out of mana quickly like me, ride back and change tank to a new one, and your mana will be restored :)

Garrosh is actually able to think, which is amazing. Regardless my vote is for A Basic Campfire for Warchief 2012.

Good info. Start by going south then east. Injured Warsong Soldiers are around the outskirts of the battlefield.

It's a bit hard to see what's ahead at first, so try zooming in with your mouse so you do not see the machine at all. I had a much easier time doing this quest that way.

Do this:
Grab a tank, go east (most likely) to the plains, locate the undead mobs and slay them by using the tank’s abilities. All its abilities should work (except for the rescuing ability) as long as you keep the mobs in front of you. When your tank run out of mana, you can restore it by parking your tank on a gas tank. And at last, to discover the identity of the Scourge leader, do as the quest tells you: “Try get as close enough to the structure…”

In WotLK Classic beta, the last part (Scourge Leader identified) triggers only when riding there on a mount, not while using the vehicle. Not sure if that's working as intended, hope this info will help someone.

The Plains of Nasam

Use the Horde Siege Tank to destroy 100 Scourge Soldiers and rescue 3 Injured Warsong Soldiers on the Plains of Nasam. You must also discover the identity of the leader of the Scourge assault.

Report to Garrosh Hellscream at Warsong Hold should you succeed.

Once you're ready, jump into one of the tanks and drive it out to the Plains of Nasam, southeast of here.

Use the tank's weapon arsenal to take down the Scourge army. If you get in a jam, the "Meatpounder" will tear 'em up and the land mines will finish 'em off! If you find any of our soldiers, grab 'em! One last thing, fuel tanks can be found all over the field.

Try to get close enough to that structure in the center and see what's going on.

If you do all of this and live, go to Hellscream!
