I'm not totally sure how, but I ended up killing this guy and not getting my debt. In case the same thing happens to you, "Silvermoon" Harry is supposed to turn friendly once more at a low % of health. He'll say, "I'll pay! I'll pay! Eeeek! Please don't hurt me!" and stop attacking. Talk to him once more and use the chat option to obtain your payment.

I guess moral of the story is, don't use high critting attacks that one or two shot our friend Harry. (He respawns quickly though!)

Pretty sure that you don't have to fight him if you did in beta. I walked up to him, told him to "Pay up!" and he simply shrugged and gave the goods.

as of day 1 live, this quest is broken. You can select "Taruk send me to collect what you owe" but just exits dialogue with "have a great day". Repeating it does nothing. Dropping quest does nothing.

If you kill him too quick he doesn't surrender and pay up.

You need to bring him to about 20% and then wait... he'll become friendly again and then you can ask him to pay up.

Bugged for me too as of Nov 15th. Can't get him to submit or attack me. Tried dropping quest and re-taking, no good.

Seems that if someone does manage to kick his arse into submission you can get the quest item from him after that without fighting him just by talking to him.

Just stick around and wait for someone to engage him. Then just talk to him.
Good luck and hope it helps. It worked for me even though he wouldn't attack me at all.

Yes, it is bugged. Dropping and picking up the quest didn't help. But pick it up and hold on to it and every time you go in to town, try to complete the quest. It didn't work for me a couple of times, but it worked about the 3rd time I tried. So, while it may be bugged you might get lucky :).

It did the same thing for me, but only while I had the the artifact quests from "Silvermoon" Harry:

As soon as I turned in all the quests and went back, he instantly engaged me as soon as I asked him about his debt.

One theory to get around the bug would be to try dropping the artifact quests, get Harry to pay up, then pick the artifact quests back up again.

I managed to fight him and complete the quest with The Frozen Heart of Isuldof inside my inventory.

This is fixed as of today. No problem at all to complete this at last. Actually, I JUST managed to get my 105 quests for Fjord without this one. But it's nice to wrap things up!

Was bugged for me. I completed and turned in the 4 artifact quests as suggested above and then it worked. No other fix worked, including relogging, abandoning/reaccepting, disabling all mods, or abandoning the 4 artifact quests.

I submitted a ticket and a GM fixed the quest. It not only worked for me, but for others. Dunno if it's a permanent fix or not. (I'm Horde on Blackhand server; could be a server-only fix.) This was after trying to do the artifact quests and still having it bugged.

If you nuke him too fast, he can still die before he surrenders. Fortunately he respawns in about 30 seconds.

Just get the quest, speak to him, he'll go Evil & attack you. He has like 3k HP to it's really easy. At about 5% HP, he begs you to stop. Speak to him again and say w/e. He'll give you "Silvermoon" Harry's Debt. Go and speak to Taruk and receive your reward of 15100 EXP :)

This quest isn't bugged theres just stupid people that don't read quest texts. Silvermoon Harry gives you four different quests to collect grave-stolen armor that he believes is cursed. In each quest text he clearly tells you to NOT bring any of these artifacts to him. If hes not giving you the option to fight him about his gambling debt, you probly have one of these cursed items in your bags and he doesn't wanna talk to you with it.

Did anyone else notice the quest clearly states "If you're interested in collecting some coin on my behalf, I'd be willing to give you a cut." and on the completion page, it says "Alright, here's your cut." or something to that extent, yet it yields no gold reward unless you're level 80?

Be careful when attacking him because if you go all out you can kill him before he submits forcing you to wait for him to respawn.

I love how Taruk asks you to collect a debt from someone within a 25-yard line of sight. Not only is he lazy, but he's a dedicated butt-scratcher. Just watch him scratch away!

Priests! If you want to annoy the heck out of other people leveling here, simply pick up this quest.

Start the fight. DoT him up and Mind Control him. Let him die under the duration of Mind Control. He will not break it and will actually 'die' rather than 'surrender'.

Respawns in less than a minute, but its good fun to get people going 'wtf

Click on the "I'm here to collect your debt" and he will immediately start fighting you. Get him to less than half life, then talk to him again. At that point he will give you the money.

Go to "Silvermoon" Harry at 35,80 and talk to him. He will attack you. Bring his health down to 40% and he will stop attacking. Talk to him again to complete the quest.

I heard you did a little work for Terry. I was hoping someone reliable would show up around these parts.

See, pirates love to gamble. They, however, do not love to pay their gambling debt.

If you're interested in collecting some coin on my behalf, I'd be willing to give you a cut.

Let's start you out with an easy one. "Silvermoon" Harry's a bit of an eccentric, keeps all sorts of expensive blood elf knickknacks inside his tent - yet when I see him he always pretends to be broke. Get my gold.
