Kill a dragonflayer harpooner, I got it on my first kill so not sure what the drop rate really is. They can be found to the east of the village near the cliffs/harpoons.

My husband has been killing harpooners for over 20 minutes. He's abandoned and re-accepted the quest. No drops. First drop for me, but nothing for him. Beginning to think it's bugged.

I just did this quest now and I got it on my first kill. Seems to be a good drop rate.

When i did the quest as a deathknight i never got the drop but when i tried it on my mage i got the drop on the 2nd kill.

I accidentally pulled two at once, and it dropped off one of them. 60, 52, close to where xdbones found his. You can swim around the camp to that area if you don't feel like aggroing/fighting mobs in the camp.

We need to get the mechanism mentioned in the manual for the next step of the plan. I have a strong suspicion that you'll find one on one of those vrykul that operate the harpoon guns in Wyrmskull Village. You'll find them on the east side of the village, on the docks by the longhouses.
