66, 44. Look for the "stargate" looking deal. Start pulling until you've sent enough glowing orbs up into the sky that the machine consumed to power up. You can tell the general power of the machine by how full the tube is.

The pants you get from this quest are functionally identical to the Brood Mother Leggings ( https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=31685 ) that you get from "Slay the Brood Mother." ( https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=10845 )

In both cases they're not sellable so make sure if you want to use 'em, take one but not both so you can net a few gp more for one reward. :)

I hate this quest. Every time I do it, I kill the guy, and can't loot the box in combat. Half the camp seems to run over when the prince appears. Or some jerk comes over and steals my quest item.

When the prince is ready to spawn the gate will start animating, creating a swirling portal, he will come out and yell about who is disrupting his operations and begin roaming. Don't forget to open the little Hellraiser cube he leaves behind when you kill him for the quest item, he does not carry it himself.

Make sure you pick up the Cube he drops because thats where the souls are, they arent on him...

don't kid yourself, this is by FAR one of the hardest solo quests u will ever do in the game since the respawn time on these guys is like 2 mins or less. i recommend taking someone with you on this one.

hella cool. i killed a bunch until the prince yells, and then two alliance appear out of the sky and try to gank me. i vanish twice, run like hell, swear, and then sneak back to see what they are up to. turns out they went and killed the prince when they couldn't find me, then they took off AND I GOT THE LOOT!

Stood on a mound at 67, 42 killed 15 humanoids(the beasts dont count but are annoying) and he spawned at about 67, 43 and walked towards me.

there's an emote when he spawns so you wont miss it. also he's about 4 times bigger than the regular mobs(4 times easier to kill too)

It is possible to steal-loot that quest item. If somone killed prince just go and use that box. So you dont have to kill those all razani.

I was able to open the box when an Alliance killed the Prince, I did do some damage to him but did not initiated the attack.

Make sure you clear the centre of the camp while killing enough to summon him,so it is clear for when he spawns.
And note that the neutral mobs that look like a small shadowfiend absorb energy from the 'stargates' and turn red.This cought me out on my first pull where i ended up with 5 mobs,not expecting the little shodow fiends to attack

I was killing mobs while getting the pink orb things for the quest before this and 68 human priest jumped me midfight. I got away, finished the quest while he was /laughing and being a jerk.

Then I came back and sat there watching TV stealthed while I watched him kill like 30 mobs (I think he was doing it wrong :| ). The thing finally spawns, and I kick his ass. He doesn't release, he just sits there and watches me kill the Prince, loot the cube, and cannibalize his body before mounting up and leaving.

As a 68 Arms/Fury Warrior, the adds probably screwed me over a healthy number of times, say, 7. When I finally got the entire pylon at 66,44 full, three of the little adds ran to the soul pylon, buffed, ran over to me, and raped me... fun stuff. Too aggrivating and not worth the rewards, even as money. I ended up quitting the quest since the rewards would total for even less than my repair bill cost, and trying to fill the pylon again, since it emptied when I died for some reason, would cause another repair bill. Abandoned. =_=

At the portal there is a thing that floats in the air that fills up the more of these dudes you kill, when you kill a Razaan a yellow ball pops out from his corpse, it will go to these thing that floats in the air just behind the portal and when that is filled up, the prince will spawn... requires around 10-15 kills

all you need to do is go to 66, 44 and you will see this portal type thing, it is pretty big, and a giant circle with like pink around the sides and crap, when the guy is about to spawn it starts lighting up and does like a little disco show lol pretty amusing to watch, then he spawns and does his emote

I REALLY hate this. I managed to get him to spawn, WOW, ok then i got 3manned by adds, and died. come back to life, the item is gone! wow ok. fun quest, really really fun.

At 66,45 There is a portal looking thing with boxes and a tube with purple lights at the top...i realize this isnt the hardest part but when people yell online it can get messy. But i found why it was working for some and not for others or taking a long time. Whats SUPPOSED to happen is when u kill a mob the yellow ball is supposed to get sucked into the top of the tube...but sometimes is doesnt or it takes awhile. What i found is that if u kill them right next to the tube the chances of it getting sucked into it instantly is higher...thus making it go faster...o and the guy is easy justwatch out fr wondering mobs...hope this helps.

Don't know what your all crying about. one of the easiest Quests I have done, went to the cords "66, 44 confirmed" & stood there killing till he arrived. took about 10 blows to kill him under my Hunter Akado.

took me about 5 minutes of killing dudes....the more you kill the more the portal deal charges, then the boss dude spawns, kill em, get the quest item, gg.

I just turned up there, whilst a mage and another hunter were farming round there, he spawned after about a minute of me being there, i tagged, got 16s loot, and the box is a box which you use, not loot, so i'm guessing everyone can use it. The box just kind of floats above his corpse.

NOT this quest was the worst quest i have ever done. You cant kill 1 mob single and every time i tried to kill that stupid boss nerd there were always adds (anywhere between 1 million and 1 trillion adds) and i could never get the stupid chest.

WORST QUEST EVER!

Also this quest almost made me want to just log off wow and stop playing for the next few hours and i would have if i wasnt so dang close to 70

WOOHOO died yet again except this time i had to take the spirit rez to repair my armor. Im about 1 try away until i just abandon this quest from heck. Good luck to all of you and remember keep some gold on you cuz if it goes anything like me, your going to die ALOT.

MORONS at blizzard for this quest.
Prince spawns every 15 minutes, ish. I killed him, and an add that came with and was at 20% health and mana, and a rogue ambushed me, killing me. He then was able to use the box, which DROPS ON THE GROUND. I thought the lesson was learned with domo that that's just retarded blizzard.

Easy quest. I killed my way to 66,42. killed about 2 mobs and he spawned. He was simple.

at 66,44 just kill mobs right by the tube looking thing that goes up and it took me like 15 kills for the guy to show up and when he dies a box pops that you have to open to get the collection of souls

Just keep killing ethreals until the prince spawns. He'll yell something to let you know he's around. Kill him, and he'll drop a floating box which you open for the quest item.

This seems to be bugged. I have killed the boss many times and seems like it just sits there over his corpse.

K this quest is a pain, but its soloable with a bit of patience. The worst thing, for me was the adds, the flesh feinds that go aggro after feeding from the purple thingys. (which turn out to be souls) Anyways did this solo on a lv 67 hunter with medium difficulty.

The coords are right.

Kill about 4-8 mobs around that area and the Prince will arrive. He's a duelweilder, and not that hard to take down.

68 Retribution paladin, no problems at all.

Before he spawns you will notice the Star-gate looking nexus in the middle of the camp charging up with energy and he spawns out of it. Took me about 10-15 min of solo killing untill he came. Like stated below, he will yell when he comes so you will know he is there if you arent watching the middle. He is also about twice the size of the rest of them

Been there for 1O minutes killing stuff, nothing happens. I come check this page and when I go back in game, the bastard has killed me already. Luckily, a druid killed him and I could open the box too

Check pants from this quest (Mok'Nathal Hero's Pantaloons and from follow up of this quest (Brood Mother Leggings GG bliz. Instead of blue in follow up quest we get same item with other name....

I went to 66,44 and noticed exactly what I had to do. In the middle of that little area, there is a gate. Leaning against the gate is some boxes and through the gate, is a pillar with a glass cylinder and a flame on top. This is where you recieve your "Collection of Souls". Kill the Razaani in the area, and their soul will be attracted to that pillar (like the totem in the prereq. Once the cylinder on the pillar reaches the top, sparks and stuff come out of the gate and the guy that you have to kill to recieve your collection of souls appears. Once killed, a box appears on top of his corpse. Loot that, and your finished.

Once he spawns, it does not matter who kills the Prince. Anyone with the quest can loot the collection of souls. Loc is confirmed at 66, 44.

I must have killed 40 of em and never heard him yell. 66, 44. Look for the "stargate" and this is where you need to be because the map does not give you a exact location. Killed a few more and he spwaned and he went down easy enough.

<name>, if you would aid us to restore the souls of our honored dead to their rightful place, go back to Razaan's Landing.

Go back up there and kill the razaani until their leader, Nexus-Prince Razaan shows his cowardly face. Kill him and get those souls back, and then give them over to Spiritcaller Dohgar!
