He spawned for me at 18,41. I had already killed him and was working on clearing out the regular murlocs when he popped in front of me and I was like "You've got to be kidding me". I've been trying to figure out his spawn point for a while. Now we know. At least one of them.

1st tip, he hits for like 40-if your in bear form, paladin, or warrior. 50 for leather and 65 for cloth wearers. 2nd, does not have a lot of life so try to stay away mages and warlocks. 3rd, he walks around and every now and than he gets pretty spread out so its an easy kill. lvl 22 druid, piece of cake but i had to pop out of bear to heal cause i was killing another guy at the same time, but overall its not a problem

If you wait for him, just stay around 16,39. The mob spawns almost at this coords, or you see him around the coords.

For quests like this one i suggest you make a macro like this : /target Gobbler.It will sure help you in finding him if your eyes are tired hehe.

Found him at 16,40. Pulled him with another murloc. His pierce armor is nasty (75%).
Still, easy enough. Take his head and book it if you've pulled another mob.

gobbler was pretty easy for my lvl 20 druid to kill. unlike other "chief" murlocs he doest fight like an elite. he was also pretty easy to find for me. i found him on and island in between 3 murloc camps n.e. of menithil harbor. im pretty sure that if you wait near that area for 5 min you'll find him.

Which quest is this for? Never had it, Just killed him right now because he had a name... Found out he wasn't a rare spawn. Continued to kill... And looked him up here.

i farmed with my night elf hunter around there for a while because it was good xp at level 20 and the chests at the camp were pretty good, along with the fishing areas. And whenever i saw him i killed him for fun :)

nothing special about this guy. he respawns fairly quickly and is easy to kill, but really doesnt drop anything worth keeping. in fact, his drops are borderline terrible...

Gobbler

He looks different than the picture they have posted. I found him around 17,39. He is a grey color. Not the brighter colors like the others.

Gobbler doesn't look like that. I kept looking for a really bright blue murloc, but they're all that color actually. Gobbler is actually a darker color; he's more purple colored.

He can be found wandering the camp at 17,40. Relatively easy kill as long as you clear the murlocs around him (murlocs have a habit of gangraping).

He's also a purplish color.

Currently this quest is not worth it as there are hundreds of bots farming these murlocs during SoD. Don't even waste your time.
