Thanks Knhawk for actually giving some help for this quest i think it's dumb that you have to go all the way to loch modan though.

I have been trying this for ages Hours! LOL And I didn't realise that they are not in the chests (what I though ppl ment) but in the piles of boxes in the mine! You can only get them on the quest. As soon as I had compleated it they are normal boxes and you can't open them so I had been ignoring them!

Anyway hope this helps any dumb asses like me!

Edit also there is a train/tram between Stormwind and Ironforg so its not so far then! :)

The best way to find them is to go to Silver Stream Mine, go in the mine, and open the miner league's boxes, the same ones you have to get for the filfhy paws quest.

Directions to getting to Loch Modan:

Humans-Stormwind(Drawfen District), Deeprun Tram, Ironforge, Walk to Dun Morogh, Loch Modan

this quest sucks, my current robe is better already. If I leave the Q does it matter? Like will I still be able to accept mage quests latter on in the game?
