Accordingg to blue posts this schematic can be salvaged from any mechanicals 70 and up with a higher droprate from higher level mobs. It will be most common from bosses in Ulduar but can also be found on outside mechanicals.

I can confirm based on experience on the ptr that the schematic can be salavged from the Library Guardians in northern Storm Peaks.

Right, the Raw Mats required to build Jeeves as it stands are:

Kings Amber*2 = (1 Autumns Glow + Eternal Life) *2 = 2 Autumns Glow + 2 Eternal Life
Handful of Cobalt Bolts * 30 = 15 Cobalt Bars(at 2 bolts per 2 bars in average) = 15 Cobalt ores
Titansteel Bars * 8 = (3 * Titanium Bars + Eternal Fire + Eternal Earth + Eternal Shadow) * 8 = (6 * Titanium Ores + Eternal Fire + Eternal Earth + Eternal Shadow) * 8 = 48 * Titanium Ores + 8 Eternal Fire + 8 Eternal Earth + 8 Eternal Shadow)
Scrapbot Construction Kit *20 = 40 Saronite Bars = 80 Saronite Ores
Field Repair Bot 110G *10 = 2* (8 Adamantite Bars + 1 Khorium Power Core + 8 Fel Iron Bolts) = 32 Adamantite Ores + 2 Khorium Power Core + 16 Fel Iron Bolts
Field Repair Bot 74A * 2 = 2* (16 Thorium Bars + 2 Fused Wirings) = 32 Thorium Ores + 4 Fused Wirings

Schematics Needed :

SCRAP-E Access Card , needed for chain quest to learn the scrapbot Schematic Looted from Mechanicals in Storm Peaks - Northrend
Field Repair Bot 110G, Zone drop from Blades Edge Mountains
Field Repair Bot 74A, The schematic can be found on the floor near Golem Lord Argelmach in Blackrock Depths.

Good Luck with Gathering the Mats

I could just see a conversation with Jeeves.

Me: "Jeeves, I need my PVP gear from the bank and my hearth is on cooldown."

Jeeves: "Very well sir..."

*Jeeves thinking to himself* "Please do remember that you are a holy priest and stay with other people. The bloodstains from your last Warsong Gulch experience were almost impossible to get out of the headpiece after you assaulted the Blacksmith by yourself and ran into four death knights and a ret pally."

2 things.

1. I hate service schools with internet access that blocks many sites.

2. I meant to say Arathi Basin instead of Warsong Gulch.

Commento di 436568

The cooldown is 1 hour according to live 3.2 patch notes, August 4th.

Can confirm you do NOT need 450 Engineering to be able to loot the Schematic. I was able to get it after about 25 min of grinding Library Guardians in Northern Storm Peaks. Currently at 443 Engineering. Happy hunting!

Commento di 313050

Make sure you are looting AND dissasembling them, alot of people were just killing and leaveing the bodys... i got mine on the "skin". ~3 hours on library guardians.

Commento di 141921

Got it last night killing, and salvaging, from the mechanicals near fitzcrank airstrip while doing the quests there.....got it in like 30 kills....I cheered...then I cried...once I saw the mats required to make it.
Cant wait though!

Commento di 229018

Got it off one of the mobs outside Fizzcrank airstrip, while i was checking the droprate for the Handful of Cobalt Bolts.

Took about twenty kills to get. I was rather surprised honestly, i was mining ore for my new mages engineering and it was the last thing i expected to see off the Mechagnomes. This might be a better spot then the storm peak mobs if you are capable of large scale AoE.

Commento di cribby

List of all the current lootable, mechanical mobs added since WotLK release. Happy farming.

Commento di 172135

But can you pick it up if you haven't maxed out engineering?

Commento di 265704

Incase anyone is interested I found my schematic in Stormpeaks within 20mins, just west of the Bouldercrag Refuge flight point. I killed Stormforged Reavers
https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=29382

Found it quite easy as there are friendly npc's also killing the large mechanicals. Simply kill them and engineer or 'skin' them.

There are also Stromforged Raiders (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=29377) running around too that look like mechanicals but are humanoids, so just ignore them (try not to use AOE near them as they will aggro on you)

Also, if you get bored of killing these, you can always head east to the Terrace of the Makers and kill library guardians (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=29724)

Commento di 368647

Ask yourself very carefully if making Jeeves is worth the trouble.

Back when Jeeves used to let you use the auction house in the PTR, this was quite useful and maybe worth getting because of that.

But are you ever seriously going to need to check your bankbox while you are in the middle of nowhere? And scrapbots, which are VERY cheap, are still available for repairing for your raid and dumping vendor trash on. You can't even use jeeves for a mailbox anymore...

Making the repair bots for it is fairly expensive but reasonable, as are this bot is reusable of course, and the cobalt bolts are no big deal, but the two epic gems and the titansteel are bound to cost you a bloody fortune.

The only reason I can imagine ANYONE will make this, is for prestige, and prestige alone. It will be cool to have, but practically speaking, it is not worth the material cost just for utility at all.

Commento di Hinahina

When I went to farm the schematic I was concerned that it might have been hotfixed so that it only dropped from Ulduar mobs (I realize it wasn't mentioned by a blue but you never know). I can confirm that it does indeed still drop from Library guardians, I got it from salvaging, and that it seems the droprate is great. There was a Paladin in the area farming them too and we got them almost at the same time.

Commento di 141925

If you're like me, you'll probably see a lot of other engineers killing Library Guardians. At first this was kinda frustrating but then I noticed some of them would loot the corpse, then "skin" it and if it didnt have the schematic they wouldn't loot anything from the skinning. This let me go over and skin it again, and I would skin up valuable stuff like cobalt bolts and blasting triggers which made me assume this is what was happening. So I would re-skin every dead one I saw in addition to the ones I was killing and eventually when I did loot Jeeves, it was off someone elses kill, who just seconds before skinned it but didn't loot it. I asked them if they saw jeeves on the corpse and they said no it was just a grey item.

So leave no corpse unskinned. Loot everything, even ones people have already checked. Spent about an hour farming the guardians and looting other peoples corpses before getting it. ~200 guardians in total. bring some scrap bots or your vendor mammoth if you have one to sell all the junk. it piles up quick.

I suppose you could get together with a buddy engineer and never actually loot the stuff you skin unless it has jeeves so you both get a chance on each corpse to get it.

Commento di klobinoth

Ulduar mechanical bosses have a 3%-15% drop rate on this Schematic, according to WoW's Armory System. I was fortunate enough to get it on my first engineering of Flame Leviathan 25man on patch day. Good luck to all those in need of a 'very' handsome butler.

Commento di 437089

I can confirm that the schematic does indeed drop from the mobs in storm peaks. I managed to get mine on the first kill from a library guardian at the Inventor's Library which is located right at the Grom'arsh Crash Site with 451 Gnomish Engineering. If it doesn't drop for you, you can always get the Schematic for the scrapbot easily. All though granted, now that the patch is out all the engineers are out farming them so it may be a bit harder to come across.

Parts for Jeeves:

Field Repair Bot 74A x2 - The recipe for this is in BRD on the floor next to Golem Lord Argelmach. Get the shadowforge key, unlock the gate on your left, go forward a bit, turn right and unlock the gate, then go forward again and unlock the door on the left. Go forward and there will be a gear, there's a little pillar-like thing connected to the gear that you can click to dislodge the gear. Once that`s down go up the ramp, and hug the left wall. A passage will have now opened up, cross the bridge. From there on it`s it`s pretty much self explanatory (There's a really extensive guide on thotbott on how to get the shadowforge key, there's also a thread hanging around on the WoW forums somewhere on how to get to the Golem Lord)

Field Repair Bot 110G x10 - Dropped by the Gan'arg Analyzer in Blades Edge Mountains, with max engineering you should be able to get in in between 10-40 kills. Easy level 70`s.

Scrapbot Construction Kit x20 - You get this from a punch card (SCRAP-E Access Card) that begins a quest dropped by Library Gaurdians at the Grom`arsh Crash Site. You need some Handful of Cobalt Bolts and some Overcharged Capacitator`s to complete the quest

Titansteel Bar x8 - Surprisingly, on my server at least, the price did not sky rocket with the patch and you can still get them from about 95-150g. This is server dependent though. Buying the mats and getting somebody to make it would be unwise due to the sky rocketing prices of titanium

King`s Amber x2 - These can be bought with 20 Emblems of Heroism or prospected from titanium ore. They go for about 250-350g on my server.

Handful Cobalt Bolts x30 - Nothing much to it, you just make them

Cost depending on server if you purchase all mats = ~1k
More than likely you won't spend much more than 300-500g

After summoning Jeeves for the first time with jealous ooo's and aaaah's from my guildies, I can confirm that he is a reagent vendor and can also access your bank. He does NOT however follow you around which is a bit disappointing. He sells the same stuff as the Scrapbot Construction Kit. He fly's on a jetpack though, how sweet is that?

I'll update with more directions for the 74A bot and some co-ords + details
Good luck and happy farming!

EDIT: Kings amber can now be bought with honor! Yes for just 10000 honor you can walk off with an epic gem. They are sold by Captain O'Neal, found at the Champion's Hall in Stormwind. He also sells some recipes.

EDIT 2: Formating, links etc.

Commento di 212371

I got this with my 75 'lock, here are my suggestions for getting this if you are low level and can't cold weather fly yet:
- Open a wormhole to Storm Peaks, it takes you to Ulduar
- Run and jump off the south cliff, use your parachute (you're an engineer, you have a parachute cloak, right?)
- Die on south side of gorge
- Rez at spirit healer
- Wait out your rez sickness
- Kill, loot, and prospect Library Guardians until it drops -- they are 79, but really easy even if you are at level 75 (hit rating helps here).

Note that you can't do the Scrapbot chain until 77, so you'll have to buy or trade at least some of the mats.

Commento di shadow45

Make sure you destroy the library guardians...thats how i got mine from the parts. My skill level is 446

Commento di 187983

i got the schematic after engineering roughly 100 or so of the Library Guardians on the live realm

Commento di 396862

Got the schematics after around my sixth kill :O
I was there for about 5 minutes and i didnt really believe what i was seeing when it actually dropped so fast :P
Anyway hope this gets your hopes up :P

Commento di Friiar

i can confirm also, you can get the schematic prior to 450 skill. My engineering is a 71 hunter 441 skill at the time i got the schematic. at the same time i was able to loot the scrape-e card to start the quest but can not start it till 77.

my pic

Commento di 230552

One thing to note: if a non-engineer kills one, you can skin them immediately: the corpse isn't considered 'theirs' after they loot it. If someone is doing the quests then.. jackpot!

Commento di 364262

Drop from first boss Ulduar 25

Commento di 164290

Dropped after looting Iron Construct, Heroic Halls of Stone.

Commento di 437753

I actually got this on my first Library Guardian. I actually killed two before him but forgot to loot the other two.
Jeeves is amazing. I wish he was still an AH...but I can't complain. Definitely worth getting.

Commento di 437750

Confirmed dropped in real server, it wasnt just PTR.

It drops from Library Guardians from Engineering them - Terrace of the makers.

I bet its around 1% drop rate, as i farmed them for 1 hour.

Good luck everyone! now im off farming the mats :)

Commento di 209389

I obtained the schematic off of a level 71 robot by Fizzcrank Airstrip, Borean tundra after killing about 10 mobs. I was quite surprised.

Commento di 346424

I got my jeeves schematic after 4 kills at the inventors library. Either the reputed drop rate was vastly underestimated or I got incredibly lucky.

Smart engineers will be selling the mats on the auction house for a premium to engineers too lazy to make the mats themselves. I sold 4 repair bots yesterday and made about 900g net profit, and still have a lot more to sell.

Commento di 438083

Confirmed! I farmed it outside ulduar from the Library Guardian's in 15 minutes :-)

Commento di 404735

Killed FL, XT, XT trash, Mimi, Mimi trash, harvested all corpses, no schematic ;; (Uld10)

Time to hit up the junk out front.

Commento di 38876

After approximately 47 minutes of grinding the Library Guardians, it finally dropped for me.

Commento di juggahnic

I gathered up 5 Library Guardians, AOE'd them down and the schematic dropped on the 5th mob I salvaged.
I read earlier how some people think Jeeves is not worth the mats. That's plain garbage. Jeeves is for convenience.

Sure they'll be oohs and aahs the first time you activate this robot. The next 100 times you whip it out will save hours off cumulative raiding times. It will save your healers because they can buy mats. It will get you extra gold because you can sell vendor trash during farming runs and keep you focused on farming, not searching for a town.

And why not use a scrapbot over Jeeves? Because scrapbots are consummable. Jeeves is forever.

Commento di ombnubcake

Also farmed the library guardians. Didn't start keeping an exact count until I had already farmed about two dozen; in the end, it probably dropped around the 50th guardian.

For engineers, this should make the decision between getting the vendor-carrying mammoth or the chopper/hog first a no-brainer -- the only reason to get the mammoth now would be the ability to carry more than one "guest". But even then, what kind of engineer would pass up the chance of all that beautiful noise, and a mechanical gnome servant in rocket boots?

Commento di mensan70

Got mine off those gnome librarians riding mechano-peeps. Killed about an hundred or so over a few days. Pretty sure I "skinned" it off a body someone left there.

Commento di 59050

I just salvaged this from a mob in Halls of Stone just before the Brann event (3.2 live)

Commento di 45715

I have been reading a LOT of expressions about what you do to a dead mechanical boss. "Skinning" "Reverse engineering" "Second loot" when the actual expression is actually cannibalizing.

Commento di Farath

I have been reading a LOT of expressions about what you do to a dead mechanical boss. "Skinning" "Reverse engineering" "Second loot" when the actual expression is actually cannibalizing.

You sir, are an idiot. The correct term for taking parts from a mechanical object is salvaging. Why? Because you are taking useful parts from the object and re-using them again.

Edit: Same place as most, took me 3 hours at level 425.

Commento di 265341

Please note the obvious sarcasm in their tone. Technically the term is "engineering," just like it says when you mouse over the corpse. A miner mines, a skinner skins, and an engineer engineers. We all just want to add our own term to replace "engineer" just to make it make more sense to us. Any time you loot a monster you're salvaging the corpse, engineers go beyond that by engineering the mechanical monstrosities.

Got mine for two of my engineers at the Library, one was only 5 kills. My Shammy was level 77 with around 430 engineering when they got it.

Commento di 49977

The drop rate is definitely lower than what most of the comments would probably lead you to believe. I've been grinding the Library Guardians for about 40 minutes now.

From just this grind, I have 60 Relics of Ulduar. Based on the 33% drop rate of Relics from the Library Guardians, I must have killed 100-180 of these guys. Nothing yet.

Edit 1: Based on poison applications, I ended empty handed after 2 hours worth. Based on 120 Relics, must have been between 200-350 of these guys killed.

Commento di Kilit

So happy just got this today from the guys in stormpeaks just south of uld. I spent 2 different times out there only 30 to 45 min at best before i started going crazy from bordem but the 2nd day paid off. Getting all the mats together as i type this. GL everyone on your search for this awesome eng toy :D

Commento di ruhemici

It drops from Library Guardians in Storm Peaks. I got it after many kills. Just kill them it is easy to find.

Commento di 438768

Confirmed to drop from ANY salvaged mob.

Tested on live, dropped from the mechanicals in Borean Tundra located around 67,24 on the second kill. Rather lucky imo.

Commento di 438796

i got jeeves off the first library guardian i killed and engineered for parts

Commento di 54910

Ive been farming this schematic for about 4 hours now, i guess im just not the lucky guy.
But from what ive heard, i wont stop until it drops :D

Commento di Fightstar

Awesomely, I was able to 'skin' corpses from someone else doing a quest at the Grom'arsh crash site. I got it from my third Library Guardian.

Great utility as it does not deplete (as opposed to Scrapbot), can run to your bank, has unlimited resources, hangs around 5 minutes longer and is very polite.

Commento di 439049

This schematic dropped off a Defendo-tank 66D for me.

Either i'm an incredibly lucky bastard, or Bliz wants to have many Jeeves around ;-)

Commento di 439089

Yea , i went to get this schem the second day the patch came out, took me about 15 mins before the schem dropped,
i got it from the loot and not from salvaging , killed about 20 little gnome fellows in north stormpeaks,
was easy sauce, took a guildy of mine over 2 hours too get it though, drop rate is such a drag

Commento di 26793

Very easy its take me 2 days doing half-ass farming i only buy the King but that it

Commento di 26793

This its a very easy to farm and i'm not a farmer person less than 15minutes with the librariams in Storm Peak near Ulduar

Commento di 186192

To be honest, I think blizzard will nerf the mats down on this thing later since it costs about 1500-2000g for the mats right now, which is 333 normal repair bots. Also, only allowing skilled engs to use the bank is just not as great since most tanks and healers are JCers/Miners (for the dragon's eye gems) which kind of defeats the purpose changing to an off spec and getting gear out of the bank when you can't use that bank. Now, I know some healers and tanks are engs but the majority of them never seem to be. I just have a feeling devs will have to do something to this item so that we won't have to spend as much money on it.

Commento di 262829

found this about 30 seconds after going to the library. was on a body that someone else had killed. just went up and looted it.

Commento di 326098

Was lucky enough to get this on the first Library Guardian I salvaged after looting. Now to find those other bots so I can actually build the thing.

Commento di 439304

Now I know I was lucky and got this pattern after just 2 kills. But did anyone else notice the vendor price of 12g? Even if you get it after 20 kills... 20 kills for 12g is kinda rocking, if it can be repeated over and over.

I didnt chance it though...

Commento di Utukku

10 kills and I found it!

Now I have to make it, it's a shame that my engineer is also my alter... very nice to have it with my main :S

Commento di Waky

-Schematic: Jeeves
- Jeeves
-Library Guardian
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The schematic dropped off of the Library Guardian, 111th to be exact (Yes I kept track). It took me about an hour of farming. It was very easy as a mage because I could pull groups from 1-10 and AoE them down.

Commento di 322670

As a lvl 71 I took the Argent Tourney free flight from Dalaran. Then if you run up the hill behind the gy, theres a small path that leads up into Storm Peaks. From there run around the mountain that the huge golem is being built on, and youre with all the Library Guardians.
Obviously I had a level 80 escort me and kill all the mobs for me.
After about 60-70 kills I got it. And got 40 relics of Uld, and 40g worth of trash. Took 30 mins.
Once again, for the people who don't read much: you MUST salvage to get this (like skinning).
For the people who are just plain stupid: salvaging (like skinning) requires you to right click an already looted mechanical mob.

Commento di 364326

got mine after 'salvaging' Xt-002 Deconstructor on 10 man.

Commento di Supahtoons

Do you have to be 450 Engineering for the Schematic to drop and/or loot the schematic?

Commento di 439661

lol im an engineer wasnt even lookin for this second kill n BAM!

Commento di yoshonesk

Okay folks,
anyone interested in getting Jeeves from Schematic: Jeeves should do the following :

A) gather all the prerequisite Repair Bot recipes first:
1. Field Repair Bot 74A:
this is picked up in BRD from the floor near Golem Lord Argelmach.
2. Field Repair Bot 110G:
this is BoP drop from Gan'arg Analyzers in Blade's Edge Mountains.
3. Scrapbot Construction Kit:
-take 4x and 5xs from your supplies with you.
-head to Storm Peaks and look for Library Guardians.
-kill these until drops (high drop rate), accept the quest it gives.
-return it to SCRAP-E, which is a small robotiod gnome in the 'temple' building on top of the stairs in the area where you are, (37.7, 46.5). Take the follow-up and return it at The Prototype Console, which is right next to him. This awards Scrapbot Construction Kit.

B) farm the Jeeves schematic itself from the Library Guardians just outside:
-kill these guys, loot them empty and then right click them again (this gives you mining type cursor and allows you to 'engineering skin them' - salvage them for parts).
-this process can take anything from 1 to 100+ kills and you'll loot grey rubbish, occasional Cobalt Bolts or Volatile Blasting Triggers. Just keep going until you salvage the Schematics.

This is based on my attempts to get the Schematics from Library Guardians (1 and half hour of farming without the drop) without having the Schematics for 110G. If you think about this, it is kind of logical to have (to know) all the previous inferior models involved. So I went to Blade's Edge, got the 110G Schematics in about 10 minutes, flew back, started on the Library Guardians again and got it dropped in about 5 minutes.
This might have been just a coincidence and the Schematics for the Repair Bots required to build Jeeves might not be required for the Jeeves itself to drop. This is my experience with it anyway.
I can't comment on the skill level required, as I have 450 Engineering already.
Hope this helps.

Commento di 251280

Farmed those Library Guardian's for 3 hrs last night no drop but made about 500g in vendor trash . . .

Commento di 46868

Mine dropped in H.HoS.

Commento di 440138

Just so everyone is aware, you definitely can loot this off of the level 70ish mobs in Borean Tundra.

My 450 engineer is only level 70 and I could not kill the Library Guardians in Storms Peaks.

It dropped after about 40 mobs. Not too bad.

Commento di Zaren

Got the Scrap-E access card on my first kill of a mechanical guardian. Then 22 kills and salvages later, I had the schematics to Jeeves!

Commento di 383596

Many of the earlier posters got lucky lol i farmed for 2 hours the other day and didnt get this schematic, then 2 days later doing the new tourney quest i dropped in cause a troll hunter was killing guardians and after engineering about 20 more of these i got it.

Commento di 440914

Confirmed drop on Library Guardians from "skinning" a corpse, half an hour worth of farming at the very most.

Confirmed you do still not have to have an engineering skill of 450 to get this schematic as well.

Commento di 322253

Our hunter got it when skinned Flame Leviathan

Commento di 441330

I just got a drop from a level 70 Mob, the things in the geyser fields - borean tundra. i got it while questing in there. i submited a pic of the drop.
it really seems that it has an avrage drop rate, it was around 1% drop for me. got it after around 100 mobs. also the monsters that drop these do not have to be 78+ the onse i got it from wer 69-71.

Commento di 338261

I am farming the mobs in Borean Tundra, geyser fields for ages and the drop rate is very low, salvaged like more then 200 of those mobs and nothing :(

Commento di iROFLcat

On a 66 hunter, with the help of a friend, on the Library Guardians, it took about 100 kills, my engineering was 436. So don't think that level has anything to do with it. It's all about the ENGINEERING baby.

Edit: I made him. He rocks something hard.

Commento di 435277

I got this on my level 75 rogue without a flier in the Storm Peaks and this is how I did it.

I used my wormhole generator and ported to the Storm Peaks. Luckily it took me to Ulduar. I mounted up and jumped off the terrace then used my parachute to carry me over to the ledge beneath the terrace on the other side. I then jumped to my death (I fell onto other rocks) and spirit rezzed. I waited out the 10 mins then got to farming. It took me only about 15 kills to get the schematic.

Hope this helps anyone out.

Commento di applebear

I farmed for around 30-45 minutes first time for this with no luck off the librarian guardians. However, there were many others farming it as well and I wasn't getting as many kills and some time was wasted just trying to find another mob to kill.

Tonight or I should say early morning, I decided to try while there would be very few on. It dropped within 15 minutes. One other person showed up shortly after I got there and is still farming for it as we speak. :)

Its going to take a little work for the mats, but I think itll be well worth it in the end. I have gone through tons of repair bots for raids and just regular heroics....this little gem will save me loads of time and mats.

Commento di Wibe

Got it after 4 kills.

Commento di 366600

Dropped on my second harvest of a guardian. Can't say what the true drop rate is because i believe it is definitely lower than 50%. I guess I just got lucky. Also, these guys will drop the access card that gives you the quest to start making the other repair bots.

So if you're an engineer and you don't have either of these pattern, I highly suggest you put in the time to obtain both.

Commento di 90239

Got it from Library Guardian by "skinning" them with Engineering. Got me less than 30mins. Nice farming!

Commento di RichieScott1

I went to kill some Library Guardians for my first attempt at getting Jeeves. I showed up to find a dead guardian and it was there. Talk about luck my friends!

Commento di 238451

The mats for this really aren't that bad - they nerfed the amount of mats you need for the old world repair bot - so essentially its just a bunch of bars and motes. The only thing I had to buy was the epic gems :/. But it is SWEET - it allows repairs and remote bank access.

Anyhow I grinded the librarians in storm peaks because they occasionally drop relics of ulduar too - which I gave to an alt. It took me about an hour of grinding - maybe killed 60 of those little buggers.

Commento di Arrzarr

Found mine, salvaging a golem in HOL normal, in the room of the titanium vanguards...first or second one

Commento di 207768

Got it yesterday after 40 minutes of farming the Library Guardian mobs,
I was pretty lucky and considering you can scavenge the ulduar bosses only one time a week even if the drop rate is lower it is definitely the place to look for this Schematic.

Ask Jeeves !

Commento di 443776

I got the Schematic from FLame Leviathan 25 man.

Commento di 444538

totally just got mine within 20 minutes off the library guards

Commento di LordShadovar

I'd like to advise that you learn both of the repair bots (74A and 110G) before farming this. I had learned the 110G but not the 74A the first time I went farming for this. I killed 500 of the Library Guardians without it dropping, so I went to BRD and picked up the 74A. After returning to the Guardians this recipe dropped on the 4th kill. Good luck to you all!

Commento di 123096

I got it after about 45mins of killing looting and "mining" Library Guardians

Commento di 126514

i acutaly found this one a Sentry-bot 57-K https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=25753#comments:id=818635

Commento di 400280

Just found one of these last night on my 357 Engineer skilled Rogue in Borean. Was doing the quests around Fizzcrank and i dismantled about 5 robots and it dropped. So it is possible to get them in this area, although it is stated above that the ones in the Storm Peaks have a much higher drop chance. Goodluck to anyone searching for it!

Commento di 267627

I hate to say this, but joking aside, I went to farm for Jeeves from the Library Guardians in Storm Peaks and was there maybe 5 minutes before it dropped. My friend logged on later that day and I went with him to help him farm for it as well, and no lie it dropped on his first kill. So don't get discouraged, and if you can't get into Ulduar, don't be afraid to try the Library Guardians in Storm Peaks!

Commento di 149470

There is a flagrant grammatical error in the Jeeves tooltip.

Requests the presence of Jeeves, the perfect gentleman robot butler, whom will attend to your needs for 10 min.

"Whom" functions as a direct object, and this tooltip is as silly as saying "Jeeves, whom is..."

Another possibility is that whoever wrote this tooltip is mocking the priggish bourgeois nerds who still care about the use of "whom" anymore.

Commento di asloversgo

You can kill the mechanicals in Borean Tundra, near the Geyser Fields, to get the recipe aswell. Will probably be faster considering they're around lvl 69, and there are a lot of them around.

Commento di 244691

Got it after killing the third Library Guardian in Storm Peaks! \o/

Commento di 447653

I just got this off of the Library Guardians everybody else has mentioned. Took me about 90 minutes total. I cleared the entire area, both levels, 7-8 times. The upside is you get a ton of trash to vendor for gold and you'll stock up on some ENG mats.

This is as of 08/26/2009.

Commento di 243011

Probably stating the obvious here but:
If you are a Wintergrasp addict like me, you will have tons of honor to spare.

10k honor gets you a gem, so 20k honor (slightly less than two weeks worth of Wintergrasp quests) and you can get the gems you need from you old world pvp vendors.

Commento di 440676

I must say that after wiping about 4x doing 10m Flame Leviathon (with 4 people I might add) I was not expecting this to drop!

Commento di Torleik

I bagged this on 8-27-09 in the Scalding Pools while farming
the robots for volatile blasting triggers. I was not expecting this at all
I was farming for about 15-20min before it dropped. It dropped from
a sentry-bot 57-K. These are real easy to kill. Happy hunting!

Commento di 443617

I just flew up to the Library Guardian's that were mentioned to have a high drop rate. I ran around the area and pulled no more than 10, and had no troubles killing them in a short period of time as an 80 Protection Warrior. Found it in the pile of corpses in front of me.

I wonder, the recipe is worth 12g to a vendor, if it drops that often it might be worth farming. You probably couldn't find another while you have the recipe -- or after you learn it, so you would have to sell it then go back. But it sounds like some quick vendor gold. I think this is only worth doing a few times with a vendor bot nearby, though.

Commento di 27933

12 mins 30 seconds / 48 kills of the Library Guardian things in Storm Peaks.

Commento di PTsICU

Got mine from the Library Guardians in 2 clears of the area. Took my friend and cleared the entire area about 8 times with no drop. So bring your lucky rabbits foot :)

On a plus note......clearing that area nets you a lot of uldar relics as well as triggers and bolts, plus a good bit of junk to sell. Think we made around 150 gold in trash and got 2 stacks of triggers and 4 stacks of bolts while clearing.

Commento di 421552

I was just doing the airstrip quest in Borean Tundra and had the Jeeves recipe come up when I skinned one of the sentry bots. Also another confirmation that you don't have to be maxed out on your engineering to have it drop. Now I have time to collect all the mats needed to make him.

To those asking if he's worth the effort, let me ask you this. Did you get into Engineering to make money or to be able to create things not no one else has access to? If you said yes to the first part of the question then you need to find another profession, because Engineering is about constructing explosives and those oddball out of the dimension objects and mechanicals that you get a laugh at every time you use one, especially if the description on the object indicates it may "explode prematurely", or can not be considered 100% reliable. :P

Commento di 239134

Ive been grinding for 2 and a half hours... What the eff David Blaine?

Commento di 99944

After farming the Library Guardians for hours, I decided to try Borean Tundra. After about an hour it finally dropped off a Sentry-bot 57-K in the Geyser Fields (63,17). Level 80 w/ 450 Engineering.

Commento di 150475

Took about 15 mins of farming before I got mine. I was pretty lucky. My boyfriend farmed for two hours before he got his. It's just a matter of luck.

Commento di vacidious

Grind for this in the maker's terrace -- where you do the explosion daily for the argent tournament daily. My engineering is 450/450. It took me roughly 10-15 minutes of killing (and scrapping) to get this plan. I had literally heard about it ten minutes before I went to Stormpeak.

Commento di 140189

Just got the schematic from salvaging one of the scavenge bots in borean tundra

Commento di corg

My lvl 73 DK (with 450 engineering) mined this off a rare mechanical lvl 71 mob (Fublob Gearwind) on my first try. Maybe rare elites have a higher droprate?

https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=32358

Commento di Huntakilla

I think i've been extremely lucky with the droprate, since i got it on my 3rd kill from a mechanical in borean tundra

Commento di 402915

Looted this 6:39 this morning (11-09-09) dident take me more then 20-30 kills, think its a lot higher drop then you'd think might be me that's just lucky eh :)

Looted it of Defendo-tank 66D in borean Tundra.

Commento di 366270

Finally got it to drop.
level 80
engineering = 460

farmed the Library Guardian for 3 days 2-4 hours a time, nothing.
i firmly believe this is random to the game, as i was up faming them and 3 other players were farming them as well, the one nite elf told me he had been up there doing this for 4 weeks about 6-8 hours a day.
( the grey vendor trash an engie gets really adds up quick but selling it to vendor for gold kinda takes the edge off)

get back on here read more and decided to go try other mobs.
so go out to the Borean tundra and farm the Sentry Bot -57-k and after 3 circles, they seems to spawn on outter areas there, i finally found it.

was very very rewarding, it is a bit expensive to make but very helpful as i dont have to run to my bank for stuff.

:D

Commento di 267146

Im farming the Librarians up in storm peaks, been like 2 hours and no luck. sighs I keep on trying.

Commento di 392303

Engineered Mimiron and got jeeves + some other goodie engineer snacks.

Commento di 164986

Spent over an hour killing and salvaging Library Guardians. Decided to try the Sentry-bot 57-K instead. Got it on my 5th kill.

Commento di 200844

Went straight to Borean tundra and farmed Sentry Bot -57-k, the Schematic dropped in under 10 minutes :)

Commento di 19148

In Borean Tundra, with engineering skill 375, this was on the very first mob I salvaged.

Commento di Cuddl3s

i just mined this from Flame Leviathon in normal 10 man ulduar

Commento di Mooney

I just had this dropped from a Defendo-tank 66D

Commento di 459695

Has been salvaged from the XT-002 Deconstructor.

Commento di Frickles

Schematic dropped for me after +/- 25kills/skins at the Airstrip in Borean Tundra, I am lvl70 with 444 engineering.
Told this to 2 of my guildies and they came over (lvl71 and 80) and both had it after an average of 40 mobs so it isnt too bad. When you're 80 you burn down these mobs very easy, no need to pick the higher ones in Stormspeaks

Commento di 135774

Grinded for this yesterday, dropped within 5 minutes. Went to Library North of Grom'Arsh Crash site in Storm Peaks and farmed the Library Guardians, the mechanognomes on the mechanostrider mounts. These NPCs are at the entrance of the library, down the stairs, and below the landing (which is at the bottom of the stairs). Look for the spinning orbs that they guard (which looks like the frame of a d20, metallic with a white-gold glow) and the guardians spawn relatively well so keeping up a good pace was easy.

As an engineer, you can loot these NPCs twice: once for regular loot, and the other for salvaging (you will see the loot bag, then the mining pick). If anything, its a decent gold and miscellaneous engineering item grind. I made roughly 10-15G the time I was there (considering loot, trash, and repair bill) so it might have potential for serious cash while grinding for Jeeves.

I was lucky to have seen this schematic drop as fast as it did, hopefully you will have the same luck!

As a feral Bear, I was able to round up 7-10 of these at a time and the grinding went real fast. I ran around using faerie fire to pull distant mobs while running into ones in a relative path. While doing this, I occasionally used the swipe ability, hitting all targets near me so that they did not reset. When I got about 7-10, I stopped, hit Demoralizing Roar, and spammed Maul / Swipe (I have the inscription talent where maul attacks an extra target). You might want to hit Barkskin when you stop at the same time as Demoralizing Roar and its possible that if you bite off more than you can chew (as I do frequently >>) pop a healing potion and Frenzied Regeneration while attacking the mob. Its best to not spam Maul while you Regenerate so that you get the full benefit of the regeneration.

Good luck!

Commento di 127372

Got it after less than 10 minutes farming in Borean. Server was shutting down and figured I would farm for a bit for it. Good luck to everyone else.

Commento di Joshmaul

I (Saavedro, level 80 human paladin, Eonar US) was able to get this schematic from salvaging Flame Leviathan in Ulduar. I'm not sure if XT-002 Deconstructor has the potential to drop it as well, but I know that FL does.

Commento di 461137

I was all set to farm for 3+ hours, flew out to the Makers Terrace, killed one mob and got Jeeves. I'm kinda sad.

Commento di 459891

Took about 20 minutes, but at level 70 with 400 engineering I got the schematic off of the robots near Fizzcrank Airstrip in Borean Tundra.

Commento di 350904

Farmed Library guardians, took 45 minutes, approximately 70 mobs. They were spread kind of far apart, so I didn't have a lot of luck grouping them up, but they were easy enough to kill.

Now I just have to start farming mats... :)

Commento di Shaldana

Actually, your 'little fun with your own bankbot at level 65' is a myth. In order to make Jeeves, you also need to make various bots, one which is a quest that you can't accept until level 77 (Scrapbot).
Granted, you can just give the mats to someone else & have them make Scrapbot for you, but clarification is there for those who are thinking of making Jeeves entirely on their own with no outside help.

Commento di 255903

I got the recipe within an hour of farming the Library Guardians. Boring, but very easy on my druid in bearform. The hardly hurt so I was able to kill around 13 Guardians at once. I think I killed around 200 mobs in total before it dropped. Spawnrate was pretty fast so I never had to wait for them to show up. I was able to devide the whole section where the Guardians are found in 3 to 4 parts and continue farming in these parts without downtime.

Remember to loot the mobs twice!

Commento di xexok

Just thought I would post and say I found this schematic while doing my first starting out quests in borean near the fizzcrank airstrip.. I was obviously very lucky. The mob actually dropped Legguards of brutalization and then when i go and "skin" it it dropped that, a level 70 robot, I feel my luck changing. :D

Commento di 464265

I just got this off a Borean Tundra level 71 mechanical, wasn't looking for it, just chanced upon it while passing thru the area (I don't have a flying mount for Northrend) . My engineering level was 380 at the time. I didn't think much of it until I came here and found out how rare it is to get. I guess it all evens out in the end - whenever I do grind a pattern or something it takes forever normally. Best of luck, all.

Commento di BlackWvyern

Karma's going to bite me in the butt for this one. I spent about half an hour farming this schematic in the northern end of the Storm Peaks, killing all the librarians as has been advised in the previous comments. I had the entire place to myself for about thirty minutes, but no luck. A Blood Elf engineer happened to come to the spot and started killing the librarians too, but he left a corpse behind. I ignored it for a few minutes than seeing that he hadn't claimed it, I took it for my own. Low and behold.. Jeeves was waiting for me.

Commento di 153510

The reason that this is worth it is because it means you don't have to go back to the system hammering lag fest that is Dalaran when you want to use the bank.

Commento di 111811

Mob Info results after farming Library Guardians for about 2 hours:

430 kills
414 vendor trash (97%)
94 white items (22%)
5 random greens (2%)
1 Jeeves schematic (1%)

Keep in mind that while all the vendor trash (greys) may seem like extra cash, it is offset by these mobs not dropping any coins. Also, if this seems expensive to make, remember that unlike a lot of other craftable items, Jeeves will still be useful after the next expansion hits.

Commento di 222087

Wow, just looted one from https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=25753, wasn't even expecting that. I'm waiting for WoW to crash and Blizzard to take it away saying "it was all just a dream." To be clear, i looted, then used the unique engineering ability to harvest parts from constructs, that's when I looted it.

Commento di 137418

So no one has answered this, If you loot the schematic and learn it, can it drop again for you and be looted again? This schematic sells for 12g, and from what other people have been saying, and from my personal experience, the drop rate seems pretty good. (on the one that I got)

Commento di 469766

Despite the scarce drop rate, I got this from a dude from occulus. Nice :D

Commento di 316251

I took down 4 Library Guardians, and I got it. Not sure if I'm just lucky, or if the drop rate is much higher than stated.

Commento di 346125

Dropped off of a Library Guardian. Took about 2 hours total for it to drop. Going to cost a fortune to make him! Oh well, he'll be worth it! :)

Commento di 475782

I found my schematic for Jeeves by taking apart a dead Sentry-bot 57-k in Borean Tundra, I was pretty suprised, didn't think this would drop there. I "Skinned" allot of these guys in Borean Tundra and also found lots of Froststeel Tubes which sell on the AH pretty well.

Commento di 474619

i got my schematics for a little over half an hour grinding those Library Guardians..

Commento di 137407

Library Guardians... 17 kills til drop.

Commento di goomba

Got mine from engineering Flame Leviathan 10 man. Have yet to get any chopper parts tho =(

Commento di 479053

This most certainly does drop from mechanical mobs of level 70 and higher. One week ago I ran Heroic Halls of Lightning and engineered a Titanium Vanguard my group had just killed and received this schematic. Finished making Jeeves less than 24 hours ago and already I'm loving every bit of him. So are my guildies. So just keep that in mind if you are looking for this schematic and happen to be running HOL, or HOS, or an Ulduar raid for that matter.

Commento di 53662

my ui mod clocked this at a 1.1% drop. make of that what you will this is obviously a statistic taken from very limited sample data.

Commento di Teliko

Got this after about 30-40 kills of Library Guardians. Expensive to make, but in the long run, well worth it. Also fun when you're about to start a heroic and that muppet goes "ZOMG soz i forgot mats for liek buffs and stuff. Ima HS naow and you summon me, kkthx." and then you're all like "IT'S OK, I HAZ TEH JEEVES" and they're all like... nowai... Also, the bank access is unignorable.

Commento di Mjolnir

386 engineer, dropped off my 2nd kill / dismantle in BT. I think it was even one of the mechagnomes...

Commento di 483015

i farmed them today and it had a quite low drop rate i farmed for like 1 and a half hour but the scinematic drops so dont give up!

Commento di winsauce

Got mine in 13 kills near the library in Storm Peaks.

Commento di Kellathon

Odd, i've done Ulduar twice now, and both times when i've dismantled XT-002 Deconstructor he has dropped this schematic, is that just me being lucky or does he have like a very high chance to drop it?

Commento di Lucifer753

Alright, I've been grinding the Library Guardians for a few days now and I have had no luck so far. I have made a little over 100g on vendor trash and found the super sweet Super Simian Sphere on one of them. I'm going to keep at it and Update this if I ever come across them.

EDIT: Another 2 hours down and Finally I am proud owner of Jeeves!

Commento di riban

i can confirm that it droped from ANY scavage in northerend , i just found TWO of them in like 10 mins of questing in borean tundra :P

Commento di 379616

I was running Heroic Halls of Stone (5-man) and it randomly dropped from a Lightning Construct which I had to ask someone to loot the trash from (a lot of people don't bother looting those for some reason).

Loot everything! You never know when random trash mobs will turn into gold mines.

Commento di 420507

A quick note for those farming Jeeves for the gold:

Once looting the schematic, rush to a vendor and sell it for the 12g. This will give you yet another opportunity to grab the schematic again, as having one in your inventory will not allow you to loot it off a salvagable mob. I discovered this after finding a mob I had recently salvaged was not disappearing, with jeeves in inventory. When I sold the schematic to the vendor and ran back to the corpse, the corpse had loot and out came Jeeves again.

Commento di 492545

I got lucky when i went to farm this recipe because i got it in my 6th kill from the guardians :)

Commento di 250295

Just had a drop on Occulus

Commento di 440032

I got this on my rogue with engineering 450/450 after about 5 min of farming (15 kills I think). My friend on his hunter got it after 5 min too, I don't know if we were just extremely lucky, but it doesn't seem like it takes long before it drops.

Too bad I can't afford the materials needed to make it anyways... /cry

Commento di 2848

I just got this recipe to drop after 3 salvages off of the Library Guardians in northern Stormpeaks. I am most likely very very lucky, but it's most likely a great place to farm for it. Good luck!

Commento di 494950

Took me about 2 minutes to get that while farming Library Guardians in Storm Peaks. Now time to farm ingredients :)

Commento di 505910

I got this today on my 78 priest salvaging constructs in Halls of Stone normal. It was my third run in that instance (on this character) and I have not salavaged any constructs earlier. Consider myself very very lucky :)

Commento di 505947

you say that jeeves must be skinned from library guardians but how do y skinning this mobs? what y need for that?

Commento di 335581

Mclovadin - Zuljin. Farmed this from the Librarian Guardians in storm peaks. Less than 15 minutes -+100 kills. Make sure you 'loot' each mob twice. Made about 40g between vendor trash, and engi/ench mats from greens. Happy hunting!

Guardians when "Skinned" drop various grey junk and a chance for 1-3 Volatile Blasting triggers, 1 Froststeel Tube (very rare drop), or 1-4 Handful of Cobalt Bolts (somewhat rare drop).

Commento di 475557

was farming the Library Guardians for a few days and grabbed a random Dng Group and happen to salavage it from a mob inside there

Commento di executable

I don't know if the drop rate is that low as listed.
but today while i was in borean i decided to go to fizzcrank airstrip and just farm some mechanicals there , i had no loot from them *just junk* and was giving up , killed last one , scrapped him and bam i got it.
so idunno if you should scrap the robots from there , but thats where i got it from.

Commento di 517538

I just got lucky and salvaged it from a Lightning Construct in Halls of Stone. Wouldn't recommend to farm those if you look at the drop rate though. :P

Commento di Kurtosis

Why doesn't Wowhead show who drops this schematic and the drop rates are?

Commento di Dalemaunder

Today i decided to go farm the schematics so i went to storm peaks and started to kill the Library Guardians and got the quest item for the Field Repair bot 110G on my first kill, i finished the quest then went outside and killed 2 more and the schematics for jeeves dropped on the 3rd kill, yay :D

Also, i was 441 at the time i picked it up.

Commento di 481384

To help give everyone an added estimate, It took me 1 hour of farming this with library guardian while watching American Idol :D

I'm not fully sure on how much i killed, but at the least 75 of them.

It is not a total waste, because of the junk and money you get from the loot and then the engineering pick up, I made about 80 gold, which is not to shabby, I think I might go back just to farm the gold. ^_^

But mind you its not how many you kill, you can get it on your first mob.

You need Engineering skill 400 to farm this, and Engineering 450 to build Jeeves

*Edit; Also if you farm this before skill 450, I suggest to start getting the mats, it help out a lot.

Commento di 526082

Dropped for me on about my 20th kill in Borean.

Commento di 528502

lol ive looted this from a : Sebtry-bot 57-K.(1 out of 153324).And im a engineer(gnomisch)

Commento di 257261

I got it after 6 kills from a Library Guardians in Ulduar. Took me 10min with my lvl 77 hunter.
Note that - as mentioned before - I got it by 'skinning', not as regular drop...

Commento di 252039

Dropped Hall of Stone regular mode

Commento di mofolis

just dropped after killing 5 guardians, Lucky me :-)

Commento di 54972

I got mine off of one of the sentry bots in Borean Tundra last night. I think I wet myself a little bit.

Commento di 541247

I too can say that it drops from them. First time farming for it tonight and it dropped after about 60 of em.

Remember that after you loot em you click em so you can "salvage" it from em

Also you do not need to be a full engineer to be able to see and loot it

Commento di Veph

I've killed about 1000 of the guardians right now.....loot them, then 'mine' them....still no Jeeves. :(

I have the worst drop rate luck.

Commento di 396311

confirmed: dropped off a centrifuge construct (salvaged) in the oculus.

Commento di 255839

I got it on the 17th librarian, I was extremely happy.

Commento di 549667

I see alot of "1st try" and "20th try" comments... it must just hate me then... been at it over half an hour, well geared, pull 3-5 library guardians at a time , kill them in about 10-20s, loot AND engineer them, have to have gone through probably 100 enemies, and no drop... I've got 20 blasting triggers and half a stack of cobalt bolts already. Just my luck... dam you random number generator!

**Edit** Finally got it. took me about an hour, made over 100G in vendor trash, 50 triggers, 2 stacks of cobalt bolts, 60 relics of ulduar, and about 10 random greens before I finally got it x.x. I'd estimate 300ish enemies. Not bad cash except that I could make 40G in about 5 minutes extracting eternal fire :S . I hope everyone else can be luckier than I was.

Commento di 552860

My Eng was at 395 when i picked up the schematic, took me close to 75 kills, on the library guardians.

Commento di Knellox

HAHAHA! this took me less than 7 minutes to get farming the librarians, and scavenging their corpses..... Easy peasy.

Commento di heine123

30 minutes of farming the Librarians and i got the schematic.

Commento di 470929

decided to start keeping track today, as i decided today is the day where im gonna get JEEVES, i have been grinding a bit every day for 4 days now, but so far today: 3 hours, 73 relic of ulduar, 50 ish g in vendor trash, 3 16 slot bags filled 3 times, 27 volatile trigers, 22 cobalt bolts, 2 froststeel tubes, and 0 Jeeves. . .

75 warlock gnome, 455 engineering, i have all the bot schematics, (cant make scrap-e yet) is there something im doing wrong? or is it just longer for some people?

::EDIT:: DROPPED! about 30 minutes after this post! <(^^)> yay

Commento di CAPSLOCK

...This might have been just a coincidence and the Schematics for the Repair Bots required to build Jeeves might not be required for the Jeeves itself to drop. This is my experience with it anyway.
I can't comment on the skill level required, as I have 450 Engineering already...

I was just crazy enough to feel the same way, after farming for hours as well. I went and farmed the 110G and turned in the SCRAP-E quest and within only 10 minutes of farming Library Guardians my very own copy of Jeeves dropped.

My Engineering level was only 443 at the time it dropped for me.

Commento di 175232

So i spent about 1-2 hours farming the library guardians south of ulduar. got the stupid consumable repair bot pattern, so not a total waste but that was off my like 5th mob. Then i went to the bots in borean tundra just east of the landing strip, and got it off my 2nd big pull. Definitely recommend the mobs in borean tundra, mainly because (as a hunter) I just dotted up about 20 at a time and gather them up & AoE what's left of them, where the ones by ulduar are fairly spread apart and have more hp.

Commento di 557204

OK Here's what i got 20 55 8 greens 3 blues 2 1 10 from nearby nodes and steam clouds 2 and the jeeves schematic in 42 mins of farming in Borean Tundra =)

Commento di 132155

Dropped for me after about 3hrs of farming the Library Guardians.

Commento di fadeaway

2nd time engineers whom already have a Jeeves should avoid learning this recipe, and instead vendor it for the 12 gold. The recipe will keep on dropping as long as you don't learn it, however you cannot have more than 1 of this schematic in your inventory at a time.

If you do have this recipe in your inventory and a 2nd one drops before you've had a chance to vendor, it will not show that it has dropped, but instead it will give you a repeatably "skinable" corpse that seemingly has no loot. The corpse will remain there for 30 minutes, giving you time to vendor the schematic, after which time you will receive the schematic from looting the buggy corpse.

Commento di 171924

Will just confirm that this plan drops from the mobs at Inventor's Library. I did two full pulls of the mobs there and it dropped in the second group. Took 10 minutes at most.

Commento di Djidara

got it after like 10min of killing Library Guardian's

Commento di 560444

Just dropped from a Defendo-Tank 66D in Geyser Fields. I was doing Weakness To Lightning quest and discovered the concept of Salvaging. The schematic dropped from the 11th mechanical mob. My Eng is only 395 at the moment.

I screamed with joy. Now I need to get the Scapbot Construction Kit. :p

Commento di 561434

I've gotten almost 300 Relics of Ulduar, 150 Volatile Blasting Triggers, 90 Handful of Cobalt Bolts, and hundreds of gold from vendor trash. And 0 Jeeves schematics!

EDIT: Got the pattern like 10 mins after this post! LOL!

Commento di 156237

Took me about 25 min to farm this from the Librarian Guardian's. I can confirm that you have to 'skin' them. In my opinion it is worth to farm this. It might take some time to get it, you might not get so lucky. And when you skin them you might get A handfull of cobalt bolts, wich is usefull for the fun enchats a engii can make ^__^

I had been running around killing the Library Guardians for three days, just salvaging everything and trying to get some mats for my engineering, and this dropped. My guildies in vent heard about it and were rather excited to finally have Jeeves accompanying us on our raids.

He is the most gentlemanly robot I have ever seen.

Commento di 563419

it took me 1 library guardian :p

Commento di Nelinde

I grinded this last night on my lvl 70 hunter with the aid of my friend on his lvl 80 mage. Both of us had engineering maxed out at 450, (my friend already had the recipe).
We killed the library guardians up at the Terrace of the Makers in Storm Peaks for nearly 2 hours. Looting was set to free for all so I could loot them all then salvage them. I received the recipe on my 344th salvage! (using mobinfo3 for loot count)
I had prepared the mats needed to make Jeeves so crafted him straight away!
Well worth the grind! Jeeves is epic! :D

Commento di Wikki

Confirmed

You do NOT need to be level 80 to farm this recepie. Took me about four hours (had to empty my inventory for greay items three times) before it finally dropped.

Good luck and happy farming...

- Ploxadin, Stormrage.

42 gold worth of vendor trash, 31x Volatile Blasting Trigger, 1x Overcharged Capacitor, and 1x Beatific Mace of Spirit. Took about 35 minutes, the interesting thing that I didn't see posted here before is that while "skinning" the corpses, there was another Ally in the area killing the Guardians just for Exp (was 1 bar from 80) and once he killed one, I noticed "sparkles" on the body after he looted it. I walked over and it was Jeeves!... It was VERY obvious there was something up with the corpse that he killed. I cannot confirm if the corpse sparkles if you kill it.

Commento di 100700

I feel completely lucky that my seldom played rogue got the schematic off a mech in Halls of Lighting Heroic today....my engineering was already max'd out and I was fortunate to be the only engineer in our group....if someone can update the drops from particular mobs, mark it for the mechanicals in that instance, forget their name but they are the last 2 before you go into Loken's Hall.... :)

Commento di 575744

I got it on the second drop off library guardian. :)

Commento di Kefra

Just want to relieve the anxiety of anyone trying to farm this and offer a few insights:

*It DOES drop from the mechanical mobs in Borean Tundra near Fizzcrank Airstrip -- they're low-level (69-71) and spawn quickly.
*The drop rate there is quite poor, however (it took me 305 kills).
*You DO NOT need maxed engineering -- just high enough to "skin" the mobs is sufficient (I had 429 when it dropped).
*You DO NOT need to know any of the Repair Bot/Scrapbot schematics to loot it, either (I knew none of them).
*You DO NOT need to be level 80 (I farmed for the schematic with a 69 twink just as a vanity item). Non-twink, non-80s, might consider farming for Jeeves a bit early for XP and some engineering mats.
*You want to have plenty of bag slots when trying for this in Borean Tundra. In addition to 305 kills' worth of non-gear vendor trash (31 stacks' worth) I looted 11 gray gear pieces, 6 greens, 5 stacks of Cobalt Bolts, 4 stacks of Volatile Blasting Triggers and two Froststeel Tubes. The fewer trips to the vendor you need, the more killing you can do. (You can use your MOLL-E to mail stuff to a banker alt if you want to save time and bag slots.)

Don't give up. It does drop.

Good luck! :)

Finished making it 1 hour ago with my level 60 hunter twink...

First i got a warlock to summon me near library guardians
Then i got there with my pally which is on same account, and was just pulling groups of 5-8 NPC's, killing them, looting them and then reloging to my hunter to harvest the remains.

After 1 hour and a bit looted the recipe.

P.S had level 430 engineering while harvesting, and in total, raised my engineering 430-450, made wormhole: northrend and jeeves for approximately 1500g (bought everything from AH that i needed)

My hunter Balerinka of Alonsus (Cruelty/Crueldad battlegroup) Europe.

Commento di Guhl

Took me about 10 Library Guardians kill to get it with 450 eng.

After 2 weeks of farming https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=29724 I get it from a Costrutto Roteante during a daily hc... the irony...

Commento di 580814

I read all of those yesterday evening, started to kill about 15 of them, no luck, today, tried again. after bout 15 more, it was there!

I was thrilled when I saw the chance to get it is so low O.o

and the requirements are so high! O.o

Commento di 367075

I´ve been farming Library Guardians for like 30 mins and it didn´t drop. Then I started quest SCRAP-E and got Schematic: Jeeves from first Library Guardians I killed .

Commento di 602336

just tried to get the schematic today. killed about 50 of these things and nothing. i did end up with a stack of cobalt bolts and blasting triggers. very annoying and wont go back for a while.

Commento di 604821

got mine after about 90 library guardian kills but before you try to farm this note that the matts for the different repair bot recipes are expensive plus the cost of any other matts you decide to buy off the ah

Commento di 473962

Does anyone know if u have to be a certain lvl cause i went over there were the library guardians are with a buddy he killed as i looted and salvaged and it never dropped for me in the 3hours we did it.

Great Post - a couple things to add for people who aren't going to read the next pages of comments:

1) For the Field Repair Bot 74A: You do not need the Shadowforge Key if you learned how to make Elemental Seaforium Charges - these absolutely work on this door. Most people got the schematic in BC due to it being based on Consortium rep, but once they're made, they're BOE, so ask a friendly engineer to make you a couple stacks and you'll be set for a long time!

2) In case anyone was stressing about requirements:

You do NOT need to be level 80 to salvage (skin) this schematic.
You do NOT need to be at 450 engineering, though you have to be high enough to salvage the bots (depending on which route you take - borean vs. storm peaks - I'd suggest being at 430).
You do NOT need to know any other bot schematics prior to salvaging this (i.e. this can be the first bot schematic you learn)
For lower level characters, this does drop from the mechanical mobs in Borean Tundra, but the drop rate is better from the Library Guardians in the Storm peaks - levels range from 74 to 79

Some of this may be restating facts, but hopefully this will prevent people from having to read 85 comments!

Commento di Drathellia

I had been searching for this schematic for a couple of weeks, but only trying the library guardians at library terrace. Went there 2-3 times a week killing all that were there and no luck.
Then today 2010/06/13 at the top of temple of invention after killing 4-5 mechagnome laborers/ attendants, i got the jeeves schematic. so exciting...
For people who want this i would say your best bet is here. but the terrace is still a good bet too.

PS: Apparently the drop rate may have changed and it is now not as bad to get.

Commento di Earley

I got this recipe in about 20 minutes at the Library Guardians in Storm Peaks, and tons of other engineering mats as well. I may have gotten lucky, but after speaking to a few more engineers, Blizzard may have improved the drop rate of this item recently and now mentioned it.

Commento di Allakhazam

Confirmed.

Dropped while harvesting Guardians in Storm Peaks. Took less than 30 minutes.

Commento di Allakhazam

I got this today off a Library Guardian at the Terrace of the Makers in Storm Peaks. Gotta use your engineering skill on its corpse.

Commento di Allakhazam

the cost of materials is over 1200g for this, and all it seems to add to the functions of the repair bots is bank access, unless i am missing something. is this just another expensive status symbol vanity pet-type thing, or is there an advantage i do not see to it?

Commento di Allakhazam

I got mine off robots around Fizzcrank Airstrip. I like Jeeves because it's an item that is always in your bag. You don't have to make more. Also, he provides bank access and he sells reagents.

Commento di Allakhazam

The benefit for making this is for raids. Anyone in the raid can repair or sell stuff to it. ALL grand master engineers will be able to access their banks from it for the 10 minutes. Considering that Blizz now lets engineers access the AH from Dalaran, you'll start seeing a lot more engineers from this point forward so having jeeves is going to be expected from an engineering raider. Hooray for Blizzard finally giving the engineers something to be proud of. (the motorcycle would've probably done just fine if it were engineering only)

Commento di Finalfantasiser

Had this drop P1 (release day) in Classic - Can't be crafted until Epic Gems release however

Edit: Had this drop 'skinning' the mech mobs in Borean Tundra

Commento di ReelJV

Not sure if it’s intended, but I got it from one of the mech people in the salt flats area in Borean Tundra. This was first 12hrs of WotLK classic. I thought it was dropped by the mechagnomes in storm peaks only.

Commento di 256124

Got this just now from a Library Guardian at Terrace of the makers after dismantling it. I have 441 Engineering skill.

Took about an hour of farming them.

Commento di bulldozer86

not sure if its been mentioned so I will anyway, I looted this at level 79 (so not max level!) and I got it by recycling the mobs near "the inventors library" also to note i was 428 engineering, if I am to guess the minimum requirement is 395 engineering (to skin/recycle them)

Commento di Infers

I just got this from Library Guardian in Storm Peaks! Remember that you have to SCRAP them in order to loot it! Took me about 15 minutes.
Here's a screenshot!

P.S
Sadly you can't make Jeeves just yet since it requires King's Amber and epic gems are not released yet in Phase 1 Wrath Classic.

Commento di un1ty

Got it after ~45 min and 50g worth of junk.
Eng 449

Scrap-E dropped right off the first mob.

Commento di Kevenatecor

WoTLK (Classic)

Here to confirm that it DOES drop from salvaging corpses

Commento di Twerk

I can confirm that this Pattern can be learned and looted twice. I learned it while I had Engineering, dropped Engineering for Tailoring, did some stuff, dropped Tailoring for Engineering, and was able to get it to drop a 2nd time.

Commento di luffty

Just want to add i got the schematic from a Centrifuge construct in Oculus normal, when deconstructing for parts :)
Wotlk classic btw - as most comments originate back to original wrath

Commento di arthas28zp

For me starting on Library Guardians at the Inventor's Library and also all over the Terrace of the Makers: 1 Crystalsong Crown of the Invoker (+53 Int, +53 Crit, +62 Spell Power), 1 Icesmashing Mace, 60 (fully sixty) Sprung Whirlygig, 51 Whizzed-Out Gizmo, 46 Crooked Cog, 1 Hoary Crystals, and (retail guys be jealous) fully 8 Toothless Gear before the schematic finally dropped from scrapping one. Good luck!

Commento di knowssomestuff

In WOTLK Classic I got mine off one of the mechanicals in Halls of Stone today.

Commento di slappylives

Took me about 40-minutes farming Library Guardians for this to drop. Good luck!

Commento di DadProperly

Got him in less than 10 Librarian Guardian kills.

Commento di Cianor

Wrath Classic Phase 4

Just got mine after 223 kills off the Library Guardians. I think I salvaged it and didn't loot it, I wasn't paying attention. Just wanted to add my two cents, as I was getting worried.

Commento di xLiyra

I just got another on an alt, Library Guardian 42 kills, but I got it off the salvage not the drop.

Commento di Akkry

Im not sure if anyone still trying to farm this, but i went to Halls of Stone in Dragonflight.
And i got it from the 3rd mob. Im not sure if i was just super lucky or they increased the drop rate.
