Seeing this as the only sword with 1.40 speed (faster than any other) in WotLK, this will be the most-wanted sword among combat-sword rogues.

Compared to Remorse, this sword is;
+0.2 speed
+32 crit rating
+26 ArPen
-15.7 DPS
-6 agility
-1 stamina
-34 haste rating
-18 AP
-29 expertise rating

I don't have the spreadsheets now, but maybe (just maybe) this sword will beat Remorse due to being faster (poison procs, +energy procs).
Don't downrate me for my hypothesis; nobody knows what this sword (or Remorse) has in store.

I'm pretty sure it's just instant poison that will be on a ppm basis. If you have this on your offhand with deadly, as is the norm,it could be better.

with the superior OH for combat sword or fist/sword specs, it will be close to Remorse because of combat potency, 0.2 faster is the difference between 1.875 eps and 2.14 eps, as well as more sword spec procs... though looking at most sites, they are pretty close (like shadowpanther only shows them as 4 MAEP apart which is almost negligible)

also considering deadly is going from 8% to 12% of AP per stack (so 20% more AP with 5 stacks), its going to be near impossible for wound poison to be an option over wound poison... especially with wound also going ppm, pretty much every spec is going to be either wound/deadly or instant/deadly (unless instant becomes better than wounding before talents like BC/pre-tbc)... so OH speed will have very little impact on poisons, unless its too slow to actually keep deadly up lol

Show me a Main Hand mace that comes even close to the viable fist options.
In fact, NO improved main hand mace was added in 3.1 at all I don't think.

Angry dread is the best one afaik. WAY behind top end Fist options.
Mace/Mace is still dead dead dead due to itemization since WoTLK came out.

Swords isn't really even alive with GSD being so far ahead of all available MH swords.
Though until you can get your hands on GSD, Malice/Remorse is a decent option if you like swords.

This sword drops in 10man Raid. Because it is Blue, and blue swords are from 10man. While Black/Red ones are from 25.

This may be a stupid question, but I'm new to the whole Rogue scene so please have pity on me.
I would like to know, if this sword would be a better offhand than Webbed Death(25Naxx) if I am Combat CQC, since it has the same speed, it has more DPS, better stats, and on top of it, I don't lose the CQC bonus because of my mainhand, which is in turn, a fist(CG). Also, I've tried to see if I somehow lose my crit rating at all if I take off Kinetic Ripper from my offhand and put the Runed-Etched Nightblade, and I do not lose anything, I gain. And since WD is a dagger, I don't GAIN anything. Would combat CQC using this be viable?
