When used, this item will summon three well-known Death Knights to your aid: Jayde, Munch, and Highlord Darion Mograine . This item can only be used when targeting one of the three NPCs associated with completing the quest objective. Once you've killed the NPC, the Death Knight will summon a Death Gate which can then be used to teleport back to the Valley of Echoes.

When you use this item, you will imitiately aggro the mob.
The Deathknight will take a few seconds to spawn so be ready to survive until he pull the aggro off from you.

The two Death Knights summoned by the horn besides Darion Mograine (Jayde and Munch) were beta-testers who frequently posted on the forums, giving feedback about DKs.

As of 1/17/19 This quest is still bugged from time to time. In order to make this work correctly you have to use the horn "Before" Engaging the mob in melee or ranged combat. After 3 seconds one of the Death Knights will emerge from there portal and help you fight the mob.
