I've found glasses here:

The room where you take the cooking dailies: 1 on the table, 1 downstairs.
The alliance inn: 2 on the downstairs tables 1 upstairs on the tables and 2 in the room upstairs

The legdermain lounge: 3-4 downstairs (on tables, the counter and a box by the door) 2 in rooms upstairs

The dalaran chesse shop: Aged dalaran limburger both upstairs and downstairs, 1 wine glass outside on a table and 1 upstairs on a box.

The inn in the sewers: 2 glasses on tables

The purple parlor in Violet Citadel: 1-2 glasses on the tables.

The above ought to be more than enough to get your glasses w/o pushing your way forth :)

Do this quest early in the morning or (very) late at night to avoid massive competition and 3-4 people trying to get the same glass you are currently working on. Annoying daily if you choose the wrong time :)

Here is a map with most of the spawning locations of this item.
Also from my experience i haven't seen any problems in acquiring these glasses so you shouldn't have too much problem getting the 6 needed in a short time.
