This is REALLY nice for a badge reward. and since their easy to get now I expect quite a few people to farm for these and a few others great badge items, socket and its bonus are great if you need heal stick a +18 heal if not a+9 heal and 2mp5s

This will be one of the best chest gear for resto shamans.
14mp5 + 1mp5 socket bonus + 2 or 3 mp5 from one of the gems = 17-18mp5
If you would like to enchant 6mp5 to it also, it gives 23-24 mp5.

For my holy pally I'd honestly rather have this then the Ecclesiastical Cuirass. More intel, more +healing. I'd rather have the 14mp5 then the crit too. The Extra +7 intel on the mail piece will provide a little bit of crit as well.

Out of all the new badge loot that 2.4 brought on this piece seems, to me, one of the most valuable choices for a resto shaman. Even if I had my tier 4 chestpiece I'd still put this in its place.

This chest is awesome. Definitely the first badge loot I'm gonna buy as a resto shammy.

Lets compare it to Wave of Life Chestguard for 100 badges.

Wave of Life Chestguard

By wearing Wave of Life Chestguard instead of the one from MH assuming we are using +9 healing, 2mp5 socket, we gain/loose:
-12 stamina
+16 intellect
+9 healing (this can be +18 if you put the +18 healing red socket in)
-2 mp5 (would be -4 if you put +18 healing red socket in)

They are pretty identical. Since my guild raids MH/BT I'd rather spend my 100 badges on something else and get the one from MH.

I will defenatly get this when I have my 100 badges right now I have 70.. and still raiding kz/za.. and there is not even 1 chest u can compare with this chest absolutly worth it.
Almost compare able too T6 chest (but without bunoses)

My guild has ssc/tk on farm and 4/5 bosses hyjal, starting bt soon. I use this chest piece and it's better than t5 off kael and the chest piece from hyjal. I put a 22 healing gem in it (easily obtainable with gem-badge vendor) and you get so much more intellect from it as well. Not only does intellect give you more mana it increases your plus healing...cant beat that till well into bt content.
