This is a very good shield that'll easily last you until you can get Crest of the Sha'tar, Azure-Shield of Coldarra, Shield of Impenetrable Darkness or similar. Only direct blue competitor drops from Hellmaw in Shadow Labyrinth, but I've done 8 or so runs without seeing it drop, so obviously this one is the easier one to get.

You know whats funny, is that this item is essentially better for the pre-raid tank.

Not to forget when comparing this shield to the other blue equivalents, this shield has +15 agility which adds a nice amount of dodge and crit. Which can also get better with blessing of kings.

This one has no issue of running instances or hoping to win the roll vs another warrior/paladin. (and yes there are people out there who will not know what ideally suits which class and will need it regardless of that fact)

Last but not least this shield has an awesome graphic :)

Mordenai in Shadowmoon Valley start the quest Kindness.

After a long chain you will be able to choose this shield.

All parts except the last are basically soloable, but a group is highly recommended.
The last quest looks like this, once you accept the quest "Zuluhead the Wicked", a boss will spawn. So you should clear the area in the courtyard and at least 1 of the 2 houses before talking to the Dragon.
Then you drag the boss inside one of the houses, that way the archers won't be able to shoot you.
During the fight he will summon a Pitlord, which once spawned has to be tanked as well. So keep the DPS on Zuluhead high in order to reduce the time spent offtanking the Pitlord.

The quest to receive this is quite hard. There is a nice shield that drops from the first boss of Shadow Lab that is better for tanking if you are desperate for a shield.

ive ran slabs bout 12 times no shield. That sheidl is nice cuase of the agility for block and armos and stamina for hp. Im gonna get the quest cause slabs stinks and its boring...

Ok, you have to at least have the abillity to fly to get this item, so the only way you're completeing it at 69 is if you're a druid.

If you're a tank who has yet to earn the Crest of the Sha'Tar yet or another of the "early epic" shields, then this item will serve you well. It is equivalent to or better than just about any of the Blue-Quality shields you can get from level 70 instances.

Finally it's not a drop, which makes it better yet.

hey is it the fat dragon in the middle of netherwing fields u got to talk to? becouse that 1 wont talk to me =(

first you need to have a flying mount, then talk to the Belf on the ground that patrols the netherwing fields, do what he says and once that is complete, fly up and talk to the dragon flying high over netherwing fields.

NOTE: as of patch 2.2 his talk to meter was still skewed, you need to get far below him and then fly up TOWARDS his head, once the chat bubble becomes yellow click on him imediately and then do what he needs. This is a quest reward for the END of the quest. you will get the reward from the guy you started at.
