The Robes of the Sun, although they can certainly benefit other classes, are particularly good for holy priests. The Robes of the Moon are good for any clothie.

But be forewarned: If you put this item on a male draenei, he will look like a fire truck.

This and the Blood Elf Acolyte's Robe share the same model/skin, and it is in my opinion a very good looking piece of gear. Looking like a Blood Elf NPC as a human without Orb of the Sin'Dorei is uber.

Take your pick between 2 spirit and 3 spellpower; not much of a difference at this level.

These are nerfed aswell I think. (see post at Silvermoon armor) They only have 2 of each stat not 4. guessing that the same goes for the spelldmg which is 3 not 5.

This item come in different forms and it is a rare drop from a rare spawn boss that is lvl 18 and she is a rogue wandering the Cryo Core located on central Bloodmyst Ilse.

The rare boss that drops this. she has around a third chance of dropping this. She either drops silvermoon robes, silvermoon armor or sivermoon mail armor.

She initially spawns at the Vector Coil and wanders around the camps outside the vector coil, and eventually goes to the Cryo-Core.

I killed her a few min ago, and got the leather tunic. But, i really wanted the robes. :-(

Killed her once at Vector Coil, then not 2 minutes later found her stealthed at Cryo Core. Guess she doesn't always spawn in the same area.

I killed the mob dropping these robes 10 times this afternoon.
She respawns quickly. Sometimes you can kill her twice in a row, so for example if you kill her at the lower levels of Vector Coil you might find her walking around at the top level again. and if you run to the Cryo Core, she might be there aswell. Happened to me, in total I killed her 3 times in 5 minutes. pretty strange

Felissa the Assassin is where I got mine, she's a level 18 bloodelf near Sironos (At the top area in Vector Coil) And was patroling partial invisible. (Had to look real hard to spot her but it doesnt affect the damage she takes) She's not tough at all, not sure what the respawn time is though O.o

As a Fire Specced 19 Mage Twink, I prefer these robes (of the Sun) over Tree Bark Jacket because of that added spell damage. With over 160+ Fire Damage alone ive hit crits up to 600 so any possible added spell damage helps.

This comes in more than one flavor. ;)

Robes of the Sun:
+3 spell dam & healing
+2 int
+2 stam

Robes of the Moon:
+2 int
+2 spir
+2 stam

I found of the moon on the AH for 30 silver and snagged them for my human priest. They look beautiful on her (and probably will on most races for that matter).

I haven't tried farming them yet, but I'll report back with more info if I do.
