The Mark over the Ravenguard is a great tanking necklace which you'll keep for a long time into Karazhan, if you're not lucky with other drops. In my opinion it is the best pre-raid Blue tanking Necklace you can acquire. Also, it's really easy to get! =)

Is also a nice alternative.. 3 less stam, 4 less defense rating but you get the shield block.. I guess both could have their uses depending on the fights.

God, that much stam looks hot for a Bear Druid.

For druids, who get a bonus up to 48% on the stamina, this is definitely the best one,
dodge rating is nice but agility is more efficient as it grants more dodge per point.

That's why the best upgrade for this would be the heroic badge reward Necklace of the Juggernaut.

How is this item better than:

I understand that it has +3 stamina and +2 defense, but I would think that +15 block would more than make up for those items.

I'm a protection paladin so shield blocking is more important for me than the stamina/defense (I guess?)

Strength of the Untamed is better for you period. Make up the HP's somewhere else but leave this until Kara or better.
