Fwaky, that's another blatent lie. You say 10 more spirit than this?

Try searching for a quest item that has that.
I entered any neck with 15 spirit and 1 healing from quest rewards and got nothing.

Only other necks close to this from quests are natasha's neck (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=31691) or Sethekk Neck (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=29334) or Karja's Medalion (
https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=30377) all of which don't have combined spirit/mp5 and all of which aren't "better" than this.

As a single piece, it looks great. However, when considering gear in totality, it leaves something to be desired. Namely, Stamina. Head, shoulders, chest, waist and legs are taken up by Primal Mooncloth and Whitemend on many Priests. Toss in Indwelling or Benevelent for your wrist slot, Mending or Handwraps for your hands, and Pious or Light Woven for your feet. Unless you want to run around with the health of a level 60 (and die every time you run into an aoe or aggro wiping boss), you better be prepared to make some sacrifices in +Healing and Mp5 in your remaining slots. With the gear choices out there, the neck and fingers are about the only place to pick up some Stamina without totally gimping yourself. https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=24110 There's not a better neck with Stamina until The Eye.

Gruul's teeth are definitely an upgrade from Karazhan, and certainly from any 5-man blues. Compare to Karazhan epic healing neckpieces:

An upgrade to the teeth from this item nets a loss of 18 stamina and a gain of 8 mp5; otherwise they're identical. Certainly stamina helps in some encounters, but mp5 will help in ALL; losing 180 health for nearly 100 mana/minute would be considered a raid healing upgrade by most.

An upgrade to the teeth from this item gains 21 int and 19 spi at the cost of 20 healing and 3 mp5. 3 mp5 gives you 36 mana/minute; to get the same regen out of the 19 spi you'd need to spend only 25% of your combat time outside the FSR as a priest, 33% as a paladin/shaman/druid. Factor in healing rotations, innervates, and spirit-based talents and the value of the 19 spirit increases significantly. As a priest myself the teeth would be an unquestionable upgrade, although perhaps for a paladin it would be a side-grade.

My guild has been farming t6 content for months now...I still use this neck tho on my holy priest ....I dont think I will replace it with anything else

Who would have thought that the body parts of a giant chunk of muscle like Gruul would be healer friendly? You would think this would be a dps item. Anyhow, a great healer necklace.

since spirit is such a 'cough' awesome main stat, this is not actually any better then emberspur talisman
