The recipe for Heavy Knothide Leather is now available from leatherworking trainers (rather than a vendor recipe).
Also several recipes changed so you have to use Heavy Knothide Leather instead of regular Leather.

You can buy this pattern from Haferet in Trade Tier 66, 74 in Exodar.

Limited Quantities, so they will go fast.

Is this a rare respawn item? I have been camping for over an hour for pattern. I have leatherworking skill of 355 do I need to be higher?

This IS NOT sold by the supplier in Wrath Classic. Heavy Knothide Leather can be trained in Wrath Classic at the Leatherworking trainer. If you are not training everything due to cost, it is easy to miss. Look close, it's in the list.

So the above "Sold By" tab this does not apply anymore. You do indeed get this from trainers.

I took over a week trying to find this only to see that my filter on the trainers was not showing anything. I changed it to available, it had said "filter", and 10 recipes showed up including this one. You can't always believe what it says form a game from 2008.
