If you find these in your bank and don't have the quest, feel free to destroy them. You will receive a new set of Unsigned Field Duty Papers when you accept the quest from Windcaller Kaldon, which you can then sign to turn into this item.

What do I do with this? Every time I go up to the guy you're supposed to turn it in, he fights the elite, him and I both die. Do I need a group?

Can someone help please
Picked up fied duty quest had it signed returned to the quest giver who has blue question mark but when i click on signed field report it does not highlight continue. Has anyone has this problem

You must keep Krug Skullsplit healed or you will not get your prepared papers signed!

All this about about keeping Skullspit alive is rubbish. He survived the battle i had yet still wouldn't sign them. And also what kind of quest is this to be only able to do properly if youre a healer!

I've helped kill this creature in and out of PVP mode... helped keep Krug Skullsplitter alive... even managed to withstand the battle multiple times without myself or Krug perishing... yet I cannot get the papers signed. Any other words of advise on how to accomplish this one?

You have to click on the papers you received (they're in your inventory), then talk to Blackanvil after the fight. He signs your papers.

i did it solo by just using first aid bandages on the captain and i attacked the bug at the end of the fight and it worked. twice now actually.

I just soloed this quest as a 61 Hunter without any healing abilities. You do NOT need to be a healer, and you do NOT need to use first aid. You also don't need a group, although it would be easier with one.

Here's the key: stay back from the elite bug. The guy you report to even tells you to stay back with the grunts and calls some computer characters to be up by his side. Pay attention to that: I died staying up by his side, but when I re-tried, I stayed back, and I succeeded.

You have a moment to prepare after you report. I set a trap up front for it (just a frost trap to slow it down, nothing fancy), then retreated back out of melee range. When the bug came up, I sicced my pet on it(sorry, non-hunters), and I kept hitting it with everything I had from a distance. When it was dead, the quest guy was still alive, and he signed my papers.
