This is one of the random quests given by Dispatch Commander Metz in exchange for a Argent Dawn Valor Token. The awards are used to buy items from the Argent Dawn; but they require a high number of the insignias.

Now that the Burning Crusade Expansion is out most people will skip these quests. It is recommended by most to skip it unless there is an item you want from an Argent Dawn vendor that requires the award(s).

but blizz makes no sense... why in the heck would u turn this in when the stonescale eel writ takes 30 eels (the same ammout of eels you need for only a portion of this flask >.<

who knows what runs through the minds of the blizz dev team

the other writ is for lightning eels which are a little bit rarer. Also though the lightning eel has no other use so you can maybe buy them on AH cheap.

This is however the most expensive writ by a long way but the item is useless, you could find someone who made one for fun one time but never used it?

Lightening Eels and Stonescale are much less rare at night time or past 7pm server. You can get a drop rate of lightening eels in Ferellas or Stonescale in Steemwheedle Port Tanaris of about 12 percent.

Since Naxxramus landed in the world of Azeroth, the Argent Dawn have been fighting them on the front lines. They accept donations after you heve a craftsman order, these are one of the donations. In exchange for the donaions you get tokens, these you can exchange for other goodies.
