Droped for me in Mana-tomb, seen as it does not say where this drops yet.
Also what seems to be new is that only people with enchanting skill can see the drop. (I was the only one that could roll for it)

Yes you can roll on that formula even if you are below the required skill. I was in gr with 2 other enchanters, all agreed I should have it due to high skill. Quite nice ench. dropped in Mana Tombs on my 5th run there.

You cannot farm solo with stealth for this enchant in Mana Tombs at level 70. The smallest pull involving an Ethereal Priest is a three pull with Ethereal Sorcerors.

I'd reckon that two stealth classes could farm for this enchant, however. The elite mobs are casters so they generally do not have a great deal of hit points. With sap, I'm sure the stealth runs would become even easier.

If you plan on going farming for this formula - stop after the second boss (Big glowing tealish rock elemental) and reset.

Sometimes there'll be few priests, sometimes there's going to be 12~ priests at the max.

It took me well over the .5% droprate for this formula. I've seen blues, a purple-pattern, countless greens and also a couple locked boxes from the priests. Besides from having the formula, I'd say these yeild the best chance for drops in mana-tombs.

It -is- possible to farm this enchant solo, at least as a lvl 70 Mage. It requires quite a bit of patience, but saves the need to constantly get groups just for a shot at this enchant. Here was my approach, apologies for the long post - I'd fraps it instead, if I had fraps! :)

Upon entering Mana Tombs, there are two static mobs, and a pat of 2 mobs. Wait until the pathers walk back beyond the static mobs a bit. Sheep the RIGHT static mob, and as the LEFT static mob runs to you, Frost Nova and immediately cast Invis.

As Invis is starting up (5sec), begin to gain ground around the Nova'd mob (don't get hit) towards Pandemoniouses room. You should turn Invis just before the pathers on their return. Now, in the 20second Invis time, you need to run -straight- through where Pandemonious would be and stop -right- inside the hallway after him. Go no further than the archway that begins the short hallway to the second room. You will be outside of any aggro radius. If you run too far down the hallway, you'll get aggro so stop just inside the hallway.

Now, from here you determine if you need to reset (warp to Shatt, reset instance, fly back) or have a shot at the enchant. Look into the second room you're now facing. You will see a pathing group made up of 2 mobs towards the back walking left<>right against your view. These can be 2 priests, 2 sorcerers, or 1 of each. If you get priests, continue on. If not, warp and reset. That's where the patience comes in.

If priests, sit down and wait out your Invis cooldown - good time to surf the internet!

Now, look beyond the 2 pathing mobs. See the Mana Things by the stone coffin? (or whatever they're called - the Eel-ish mobs). You're going to run over there to the back wall, and then to the left and up to the top of the bone pile in the corner. When Invis is up, start it. You have plenty of time for this run. Once fully Invis, run straight to the back wall, turn left and run up to the top of the bone pile. You're out of any aggro range here.

Ok, so, now you need to kill the 3 Mana Eels (again, the name escapes me). Be wary of their AoE when they die (about 1500dmg). I burn one down quick as the group comes towards me, Nova the other 2 and pick one off then worry about the last since you can eat an AoE without worry at that point. Shields help - Mana Shield works fine for me.

Now that the Eels are dead, it's time for the priests. Move to the left side of the coffin (left side facing the hallway you ran in from). Note the pathers we're interested. Note their path. When they are basically in the middle of this room, fire off yer nuke on one, then quickly sheep the other (likely it'll be sheeped near the middle of the room - this is ok). If you have a priest/sorcerer group, sheep the sorcerer. Pull the mob you nuked back to where you killed the Eels, and nuke the crap out of it. BE CAREFUL. It will most likely try to heal. Silence it! The priests have about 11k health, but they can hurt even at melee range - Nova is your friend as aside from Melee, all they seem to do is Holy Nova so keep yer distance and you're fine. Once one is down, don't pull the other until your Counterspell is up so resheep, bandage, etc in prep. When ready, pull the other back, and kill it. Loot as you can and hope for the best.

Also, in this area, there is a group of 5 or 6 Eels near the bone pile you ran too. Sometimes there is a chest in the middle of them. Sometimes, it's not locked :) If you have Imp Blizzard, they are cake. If not, get crafty with yer spec and keep your distance. I don't have it, but with some Nova love, and a cold snap for another root, they weren't too bad.

From my own experience after doing nearly 30 stealth runs in 3 days and this thing not dropping at all (even got Cat's Swiftness formula from a sorcerer :o), I decided to get 5 more enchanting skills so that I could learn it if it dropped (so on all those stealth runs I lacked 5 levels to learn it) then my next stealth run it drops... luck? or can anyone CONFIRM that you don't need the level requisite to learn it?

As a 70 hunter with a 70 rogue from my guild, we are able to clear the second room in mana tombs (the one with about 8 priests) in 45min roughly. We have cleared 5 times, but no drops yet. It's fairly easy to cc the mobs and burn them down, even the groups of 4 can be taken out easily by sap--trap--pet tank--zerg. A group of 4 dps and 1 healer (shadow priest) could clear from first to second boss in under an hour killing everything. Best bet is to have your guild help you farm the enchant.

As a rogue I can clear the second room out completely, other than the voidwalker that patrols around. (sap / blade flurry / adren rush make it easy)

After over a week of solo farming the room, 2-3 hours a day, 1000+ ethereal priest kills, it finally dropped for me.

So, don't get discouraged when it isn't dropping for you, the mobs drop a good amount of silver/cloth so at least you make good gold in the process. But yea, it was a pretty brutal grind. I was ready to /wrists a few times. But keep at it and it will drop.

Mob notes for solo farming the 2nd room of Mana-Tombs:

Ethereal Priests: They holy nova for ~800dmg, and heal themselves. Make sure you interupt the heal, it's a pretty large one.
Ethereal Sorcerers: They cast arcane missiles, which you should just let them do. Its less powerful than their melee attack. They also can summon 2 arcane elementals that will really put some serious hurt on you. If you see his hands glowing but no casting bar, it means he's summoning the elementals. If there is a casting bar, then he's doing arcane missiles.
Ethereal Scavengers: They hit hard, have a lot of armor, and a lot of health. They put a "singe" debuff on you that ticks for ~600 dmg every 2 seconds. They are difficult, go all out on them or you will die.
Ethereal Crypt Raider: Similar to Scavengers, they have high armor/hp and hit hard. Nuke them ASAP.

There are also a pack of mana wyrms in the second room, sometimes guarding a chest. They will explode for ~1000 damage upon death, so if you plan on getting the chest be ready to pop a health potion or whatnot. They also melee for decent damage as well.

One other thing, during my grind I make a ton of cash from the chests in the room. I got 3 blue gems, a ton of greens (which I de'd), and lots of gold/scrolls as well. Most of the time they are not locked.

Yeah, uhm, so i though i wanted this enchant (rogue) and went to mana tombs normal, looked up a 3man pack, a priest + 2 adds. Sapped an add, flurry adre rushed the 2 down and voila - the enchant dropped on the first priest.

I'm thinking i used up about a year's worth of luck.

If you don't have 320 enchanting or close to 320 enchanting, would be nice to pass to other enchanters who have the skill seeing as this has been my 1000th time running this place and other people with not even 250 enchanting need on this pattern and win.

It's fairly simple to solo farm the room after the first boss as a feral druid, even with not-so-great gear (S2 maul, shoulders, hands, rest mostly blue). The groups of 2 are easy, groups of 3 are do-able if they're 2 priests and a sorceror. Always kill sorcerors first, and interrupt with bash when they start the elemental summoning animation.

I'm sure it would be very easy with better gear.

Dropped for me after about 80 priest kills. Also got a stack of lichen, couple of fel lotus, couple of blues from chests, and some greens to de.

Got it after about 10 kills on normal mode. Drop rate may have been buffed like some of the other old enchant formulas were recently or maybe I was lucky.

I was able to solo this as a 73 rogue. I stealthed past Pandemonius in the first room and started killing the 2 man priest/sorcerer patrols. It dropped from the second pat I took out.

these also droped for me in a run today twice. first time another mage in my guild got em, next they droped about 10mins later i won the roll . there were 3enchanters so i was prty happy. If anyone wants these im on the Eldre'Thalas server. PST Frozt Alliance Side.

either im very unlucky or this doesnt drop off the same mob anymore as i have ran this instance time and time again and have yet to see even a single copy of this chant drop. maybe it only drops in heroics now? dunno but im tired of running this instance for one chant....

Most or all of the enchant formulae that aren't found in raids have a higher drop % in normal instances than heroics. I'm glad about that

This enchant dropped for me in the Mana-Tombs from a trash mob. It's BOP, I don't know droprate yet, seems pretty low. Also, as it's BOP only those who have enchanting can roll on this, those who doesn't have enchanting won't get the option. I'm selling this on Draenor EU Alliance side, whisper Hel if you'd want it :)

This dropped for me off a trash mob in Mana Tombs last night. Odd thing was when it came time for distribution: I was the only party member who saw the roll box. Don't know if it was because I was the only enchanter.

I just got this on my mage, dropped on first kill :).
If you want to solo it (as a mage), there is an excellent video on youtube showing you just what to do. The vid is called 'Farming Mana Tombs Solo'.

It takes a long time though, you need to use invis twice before you get to a priest. If it really is a ~1% drop chance, I wouldn't go farm it, it would take ages.

I just got lucky i suppose, though i think the drop chance is more like 5%.

A frostmage can sologrind for this recepy on normal-mode, and take 8-20 Ethernal Priest every run (0,4-0,5% droprate). The droprate on heroic is usually 2 times as hight for stuff like this, that make 1% droprate on heroic.

i tried to get this recipe today. started by going in solo and later i got help from a lvl 70 druid. its possible to solo however the groups of 3 mobs can be hard sometimes. its very easy with 2 ppl. i suggest u just kill the mobs in the first room after the boss and then reset it. there are a few more priests late on but there a lot harder to kill without pulling more adds.

i finaly got it after 3 hours and about 7 or 8 resets, killing just the priests in the first room

Probable reason the drop rate registers higher for Heroic vs. Normal:

More serious players, those running heroics with a higher degree of success or frequency, are more likely to be enchanters. The mod that records this data does not take into account party professions, so it's very likely skewed for just that reason.

Although it would also make sense if Bliz/Activision decided to reward those up to the Heroic challenge by increasing the drop rate.

Regardless, the drop rate is far from good and farming it really isn't worth the time IMHO. Just keep an eye on groups LFM for this instance or help friends who need it ;)

You'll find that most enchants with (limited supply 11) written by them from a vendor is info collected from private servers.

youll see a lot of stuff on thottbot that ca supposedly bought from the innkeeper Eyonix in netherstorm. Unfortunately some (person) had his thottbot mod turned on in a private server and screwed it up for the rest of us. None of these things can be bought from this NPC.

First few bunch of mobs isn't too bad if you have a succubus, and you can sneak around boss from there... 70 destr lock.

I've cleared mana tombs normal six times while only seeing this pattern once. My suggestion is to not worry about it - chillax until you can do heroic.

To my surprise got it on my first night in the heroic mt. dropped on the 10th priest kill. God that spellbinder dots hurt more than capernian at kael'thas on heroic :)

I've been farming this solo on my BM hunter for the last few days now. Finally just got it after about 12 clears of every priest in the room right after the first boss.

I didn't use any invis potions. I just soloed the first 3 groups of 2. After that you can just walk right past the 3mobs and past the boss. Then solo the next 2 group, and for the next 4 group I would just kill one, feign, kill another, feign, then kill the last two. After that it was smooth sailing.

It took forever and I didnt think it would ever drop, but finally did, never going back there again, lol.
