Doesn't actually launch off fireworks unless you have ones made for it, I tried to make Green Fireworks using the schematic. But they wouldn't launch from the base, so I am assuming you need the special fireworks from the Festival.

I must also mention it does cost quite a bit to make, and is only one charge.

As of this patch, the 2 types of Firework Launchers DO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY inside of major cities.
I put down 4 in SW like I have done in the past on the 4th of July and it was a waste.
None of them fired off the rockets properly. They just opened and sparked with no firework explosions at all.
Also tried inside IF to no avail. Finally used one outside and it worked. Quite a costly learning experience.
I don't know if Blizzard nerfed these on purpose or not, but it is very disappointing.

So... USE CAUTION when placing your launchers.

Is this and the cluster launcher one use or multi use?

You use these items, near Firework Launcher to shoot them:

Small White Rocket, Large White Rocket
Small Yellow Rocket, Large Yellow Rocket
Small Red Rocket, Large Red Rocket
Small Blue Rocket, Large Blue Rocket
Small Green Rocket, Large Green Rocket

Only an Engineer, who learned the Lunar Festival Schematics, can make them. (Except White & Yellow Rockets)
U can't use Firework Launcher in cities or indoors. Cluster Launcher is the bigger counterpart

Just to note guys.... this isn't reusable. It has one charge 30 mins then gone.

Pretty dumb considering to make it you need pretty expensive mats.

I had to learn the hard way :(

Right now (few days before 1st april) ppl are starting to use those to block paths to the AH/Banks--etc. There is no way you can go over them unles if you are mage or if you auto-unstuck.
Note THAT THIS is Banneable!

I turned in the coins on my Engi at 180 engineering but only got the plans for the small fireworks, do I need 15 coins total to get it? 5 for small, 5 for cluster, and 5 for the launcher?

and placed it in Ironforge.. the problem is that it doesnt work or I dont know how to get it to work..

im a lvl 226 engineer whos lvl 22 and not yet goblin or gnome(going goblin) can i use this launcher and where do i get the plans for it?

Yes u can apperently all u need are the coins of ancestry and u should be able to get the schematics for them in moonglade.

P.S. u need to start the lunar Festival for them, and the place u get the schematics is the same place wher e u get the dress but its his sister.

44 lvl rogue, 248 gnoomish engineer... i talking to NPC and she offering me only large and small rocket recipes (got large), but there is no launcher :[

I got launcher recipes but not rocket ones.. I just looked over my stuff.. I can make Red, Blue, Green, and Snake Burst (yellow) fireworks..

Firework 'cluster' launcher, and a regular Firework Launcher

Then I can make the new flaires from BC. I had tons of coins and traveled all over the friggen globe getting all I could. Only ones I didn't get were in instances. If there were other schematics available to me (maxed skill at the time) I sure didn't see them. I MUST HAVE THEM ALL! Muah ha ha haaaaaa

I'm gnomish.. perhaps certain things are only available to certain types of Engineers.

If you know what your doing you can make some money of this and a set of rockets. Party people love this stuff and you can sell these things for a price PLUS their mats since its hard to find someone to make small,large, and launchers have all that and you'll make some real cash of those parties. And remember tip the engineer, he doesn't have a money making prof.

I make all of the rockets, cluster rockets, and both types of launchers on the Argent Dawn server. Occasionally I will throw a free show in front of Orgrimmar, which I announce in the trade channel. Although I play Horde, I do have alts who smuggle =)
