While this seems like a ghetto-enchant for higher levels, the stun effect makes it a pretty nice one in outland.

If I'd have to level up again in Helfire Peninsula, I'd dual wield this for sure. Since you'll be upgrading your weapons almost constantly, it really makes no sense to go for one of the expensive enchants.

So far I tested on elites and non-elites, and it works; the stun is about 4 seconds. The hardest mob I tried it on was a lvl 69 elite wandering near the Dark Portal.

Lol, I have a lvl 53.5 Dwarf Hunter and my Enchanting is like exactly 225 so I was gonna try killing this thing alot and get the Demonslaying Formula as well as my Icy,Firey,Unholy and Spirit to weapons Formula's that I got.

I am on Thorium Brotherhood, Dwarf's name:Kreno.

I'm assuming it works on ranged weapons too, since it doesn't specify melee-only. Any hunters tried this on their ranged weapon? I'm thinking Autoshot + Demonslaying = Hellfire Pwnage.

I just got this enchant when I wasn't even looking for it. Sure, I spend hours farming for it, but when I go to help another 45 warlock with the scorps/basilisk timed quest in Tanaris, we find a demonslaying formula on the third or so glasshide basilisk we kill.

She let me have it.

AH is to tough to get it at. its either not on when you need it or its going for 25-50g. Being an enchanter you dont make that kind of money till your almost maxed out on the skill or when you hit 60 and money comes easy.

There were two entries for this on the AH in Whisperwind. One was something like 25g, the other 1g. I had to run next door and sell crap just to nab it before someone else did.

well i was just killin the furblogs in felwood to get rep with Timbermaw to pass to get to Winterspring and one of them dropped this. I was like nice i could sell this for like 20g and makes ome $$, but in AH it's only like 3g so i kept it in bank since i will be an enchanter later on.
Also the night before i was killing furbolgs in the same spot and https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=14236/embersilk-boots dropped. My friend won the roll. So in conclusion this place is pretty damn good for farming lol

I got it 3 times when i grinded dont remember where but whit my friend level 60 night elf warrior and we killed 43-46 monsters and guess what when i grinded 30000xp i goted 1 formula then at 1000xp more another one then when 5000xp more last one so...........................................

What is heavy damage? Is it the 265 Attack Power from potion? It's a little vague and if people don't know, they don't buy.

Anyone know how many procs per minute this enchant is based on?

assumably it'll be either 2 (like crusader), or 4.5 (like lifesteal and fiery)

Considering putting this on my spare weapons for karazhan, and also, general outlands with the large amount of demons to be found in the new content.

With this in mind, its more than possible this enchant could start to turn a profit, with so many people farming demons for fel armaments and marks of sargeas to sell.

I had this enchant put on my 2h axe, and for some reason i didnt get any glow at all...

About 20 levels earlier, i put it on a 1h sword and got a glow that looked like firey.

Is it just a glitch that mine isnt glowing, or is there some rule about it's glow for 2h axes, or Burning Crusade items?

Oh, and BTW person above me: NO it does not help ranged attacks at all. Though if i generate too much agro on a monster and they get in melee range and get a proc, then it would help me get agro back on my pet while i get out of range.

75-125 holy damage and a stun for several seconds.

Tried it on dual wield daggers in Netherstorm on the demon camps there and it wasn't too impressive. Proc's at least once a fight but the stun time is quite long maybe 4 seconds.

So is this the best enchant for a rogue to have when fighting Prince for example in Kara and other demon bosses throughout Outlands ?

For these people who enjoy getting full sets of gear just to hunt one type/race of monster, I'm guessing slapping two of these on your swords (for a Rogue) would be fun. Add an Elixir of Demonslaying and whatever equips have +AP vs Demons (while still holding a relatively high DPS rate) and sounds like some domination.

By having this enchant on Illidari-Bane Mageblade, for example, would I (obviously as a caster) notice any benefit at all? That is, would the 125 dmg and stun only ever proc if I used the dagger in melee combat, or would this work for spell attacks too? If it only works for melee, then I guess a BC enchant like +40 spell dmg is the way to go for a demon-killing spell dmg weapon like the Mageblade.

I had this on some random blue axe when I first got to the outlands. It is very handy in Hellfire where most of the things you are fighting are demons. PPM is around 2, so it would usually proc once per fight. Cheap enchant, cool looking, and useful for outlands = 2 thumbs up!

Dropped mining after I got to 300 Eng and started enchanting, got this farming the elite giants in Ferelas. Been selling them 2x for 60 hunters on their epic bow/staff quest. The extra "heavy" damage is ~100 damage, but the stun is really nice for dual wielding vs. demons. 2 second stun procing every 10 seconds really drops the incoming damage fighting demons.

Why are some people so vile? Enchanters spend a lot of time and money to get things like this, and today I tried to sell it for 15g, using MY MATS, which are going for 12g in the AH right now if they have to buy it, and I got so slammed in chat that I said screw it and flew away.

I am starting to see why some enchanters just DE and sell mats. Why try to provide a service for ungrateful idiots.

To add something positive to the conversation, I enchanted my dagger with this and it looks pretty cool. Also works like a charm on the demons.

I'm a 60 warrior, 41/5/3.

I put this enchant on my 2 hander(3.50 speed).

I can get this enchant to proc multiple times in a fight by spamming MS and rend. It procs so much, it isn't even fair to the mobs. Definitely a must have for outland, it makes solo grinding a snap! The 5 sec stun REALLY cuts back on your downtime. It's awesome!
