For anyone having trouble finding where the Barrier Hills are, they are the mountains separating Shattrath and Nagrand. It might get tricky at times to get the capture because the location bar tends to switch to Nagrand when you're still right next to Shattrath. Simply walk or fly around until you get the sweet spot.

Here's how to log The Barrier Hills without a flying mount:

It's that big triangle of hills Northwest of Shattrath.

Go out the northern gate of shattrath, turn left as soon as you leave the bridge, and work along between the city and the hills. On your right is a broken stone structure. Slip around it's western end and go up the little draw.

Somewhere near 51.5, 0 on the city map, you will transition to 29.8 13.0 on the Terokkar Forest map and register the Barrier Hills.

I did it with my flying mount .Go to Aldor then jump to pool and use your flying mount and go to northeast and there you are.

if u r having troubles finding barrier hills walk to the north ramp to go out of the city as soon as u get of the ramp turn left (west) stay on the grass and go about half way from the ramp and get on your flying mount and flight straight up

Behind the Bonechewer ruins

You can get this without a flying mount. The area title appears as SKETHYAL MOUNTAINS.

So l'm assuming that any location which appears as this will give you the SKETTIS exploration as well. Got this on my lvl 14 mage so it is possible without a warlock summon or a flying mount.
