Your basic water elemental, this one shoots frost bolts at you. It also has a knockback move 'geyser' that it will use to unclose with you, but it only seems to do this when you fight it in the water.

Other Mobs in the area include Sea Elementals (Water Elemental), Rogue Vale Screechers (Wind Serpent) and Wave Striders, Shore Striders, Deep Striders (Giants)

My friends and I fought some of the Sea Sprays for fun, and I hoped for some of the items. Regardless, we got nothing for loot like 6/10 times (literally).

To get sucky items is no surprise, but why did they drop so much nothing for loot? We all noticed that it was going on, so we just left to do other stuff.

Nice little Tip about these guys. They deal Frost Damage, so if you're a mage, pop Frost Ward, and go to town. :)

Immune to bleed effects and seems to have more armor than other same level mobs, because hardly takes max crits from melee (atleast from my warrior).

They're also immune to nature damage. My hunter's stings were useless.

Do NOT try to farm these guys for Elemental Water at the same time as doing the Fuel for the Zapping repeatable quest. I tried this since the quest is repeatable I figured I might as well, but the quest lowers the drop of the elemental water SIGNIFICANTLY. I'm not even sure it's possible for elemental water to drop while doing this quest cus I got zero dropped for me after like 50 kills, then once I finished the quest I got a drop on the 1st kill.

These mobs, as well as the Sea Elementals in the same area, also have a chance to drop a Globe of Water, which is needed for many craftable items. The drop rate is low, but given their large numbers its a safe bet that you can get the globes you need here...eventually. =p

I don't understand how these can infinitely cast spells with no mana, rage, or energy... but they do. Rather annoying.

OK, so i needed 2 globes for elemental LW quest, grinded these for 3/4 of a level, killed 300, not even one globe drop. So 7,7% is totally imposibble.

Just a small tip for mages on these guys... They might seem hard because of their immunity to Frost spells, but to make their advance your best tactic: Use Frost Ward... everything the cast and do consists out of frost damage, which makes them fairly to very easy.

It is possible with 7,7%,.. it's more like a roll of a dice,.. you got 7,7% chanse to roll 100 on a hundred dice so to say,.. and even if you roll it 300 times you still can end aupp wit maximum of 98,.=) Or to compeer to a regular 6 sided dice,.. you can roll it for more than 10 times to get once 6 on it. still you got a chanse of 16,66% chanse to roll a 6 on a 6 sided dice,. =)

I thought I was going to be on this beach for a long time, but the first kill I got dropped a globe. I killed about 15 Elementals and Sprays total before the second one dropped.

There is no way the drop rate for is 50%, its more like 10-15%.
