apparently, but im not sure, your best bet for farming eternal waters

These have a 100% droprate of Crystallized Water. They ALWAYS drop 1-3. But you can only see it when your faction controls Wintergrasp. When they do this you will have the Essence of Wintergrasp buff.

Sometime they can be tricky to loot!

These also have a lot more HP and hit harder than normal elementals. Running around I also saw Earth Revenants so these must be the "protectors" or something.

A huge bonus to controlling Wintergrasp is the quick farming of air, water, fire, earth, and shadow crystals by means of the "revenant" elementals. Mobs within Wintergrasp that have a 100% droprate on these include:

Water--https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=30877
Air--https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=30875
Shadow--https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=30872
Fire--https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=30873
Earth--https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/npc=30876

Each have a guaranteed droprate of one to three crystals and are usually surrounded by smaller elementals of the same type with a 25% drop chance.

I noticed in 3.0.3 that they didn't properly leave corpses underwater, which seems to be fixed in 3.0.8. Only farmed these water ones.

For mages,

I thought these would be immune to frost, but they aren't. Frostbolt away!

I hate that gurgling sound that they make when they die. So sad :(
