Ironically, he wouldn't be able to wear his own headpiece, since Mugthol's Helm is Lv 47 (equip).

Mug'thol was an ogre from Draenor who fought during the Second War in the orcish Horde. When the Horde was defeated and scattered, Mug'thol joined the Stonemaul Ogres under the rule of Kor'gall.

Mug'thol led a small group of ogres in the Plaguelands, and found himself caught in the middle of a battle between Sylvanas Windrunner and the Dreadlord Varimathras.

Sylvanas, needing to bolster her forces, raided Mug'thol's camp. Mug'thol warned her that she would fall, but Sylvanas had one of her banshee sisters possess the hapless ogre, who then declared that his allegiance was now to the "pretty ghost."

Later Mug'Thol and his ogre warband was sent to Alterac to retrieve the Crown of Will for Lady Sylvanas. Unfortunately, instead of returning it, he decided to try it on. The Crown of Will enabled him to resist the possession placed upon him to serve Lady Sylvanas and he defected, establishing himself and his band of ogres in the ruins of Alterac as the Crushridge ogres.

Mug'thol has three loyal lieutenants, Muckrake, Targ, and Glommus.

Soloed as lvl 36 Feral Druid...tip for soloers...Mug'thol is just kill,kill...the way to him is harder than mob himself.There are Warmongers all over the building and they "call for help".If u get 2 mobs on u, use bear form,as 1 mob is on low health switch to 2nd mob and get hes hp-s down aswell,then use swipe to kill em both.And the reason why to do it is.: when u kill 1 mob 2nd will enrage and do crazy dps on u.If hes full hp hes simply outdpsing u.Both at low hp and its easy.At least as low as lvl 36 should consider doing it like this.
Worth about 6000 exp at lvl 36 + simple "deliver"followup worth about 5000 exp aswell.

Much weaker then i expected, he has only around 2k hp. Easy to solo if he's orange for you

Just soloed him as a 36 feral druid. It was difficult but it is do-able. Had to go bear twice, used a health potion, healed 3 times, and went kitty twice. Finally got him down due to the bleed effects I was able to land on him.

He is pretty weak for a mob with a server named after him.

Did this as a lvl 38 priest (hadnt trained lvl 38 spells but doesnt matter much)

The tactics for this is simple but its kind hard battle... I died sometimes to get to the mob cause some elite appeared out of nowhere...

In this mob go with full mana and dont waste mana on spells... maybe just in SW: P the rest just want dps and heal when you're at 500 hp, dont to the healing too late because an heroic strike crit can kill you

soloed without problem on my 37 hunter, hes a 43 normal mob with a little over 1700 hp does nothing much noticable in the way of special attacks.

Just solo'd as a 38 Enhance Shammy. That was simple, but it's bad due to mod stacking. Everything is on top of each other.

Conclusion:

Someone stole Mug'thol's helm (see, he's not wearing it!)
Same goes for Allistarj and Stalvan.

btw, those old ogre models rocked :(

Ye, as strange as Archmage Allistaj can't drop Wand of Allistarj and Stalvan Mistmantle can't drop Stalvan's Reaper :P

i killed him and he dropped ardent custodian. that isnt even on the list up top!
