My favorite spot to grind these guys is just South East of Garadar. Plenty of them out there, plus Air Elementals for Primal Airs. Usually get ~16 leathers in 45 min, plus an air and a few motes.

It is southwest garadar though, also west garadar has a nice supply of them along with northwest

well i were grinding, and i think the drop rate has been highered, beacuse i got more of it than other times before the patch. and i grind it alot

Yesterday (June 1st) I looted Pattern: Unyielding Girdle ( https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=24302 ) off this beast =) I have yet to manage to sell it in AH.

I'm not sure how to go abouts having this item added to this beast <_< But I thought I'd post it anyways. =P

On every server I've been on, these are almost always occupied by multiple level 70s grinding for the leather. I would suggest being prepared to fight for the right to grind them if you're on a PvP server.

Also good for getting Clefthoof Meat to get up your cooking and if you grinding these for the leather then you can make abit of extra cash for cooking them your self and then selling them on AH

If you're a hunter just mount up and track beasts, they appear as red dots on your minimap in a sea of yellow dots. I get about 30 more or less in 50 minutes. I usually kill them around the nagrand area with my epic flyer, no real downtime for me.

These mobs are the most-killed mobs in Outlands, at least I guess so. I don't know if there's an official list about this, but I can't imagine any other mob which should have been killed more often.

Be careful if you want to AoE grind them, they warstomp repeatedly, which means if you're fighting a group, you can easily get stunlocked and die, just like fighting that annoying rogue.

good area to grind them is on 49,39 and is good to grind them for
Thick Clefthoof Leather in my server is 50g stack!

I was having a consistently better than 20% drop rate, for the 66's, better than 25% and closer to thirty.

Out of about two hours of grinding, I walked away with two and a half stacks, three DE Greens, and 23G worth of Grays.
