The Insignia stats do not change based on your class. If you are a caster, you will still get this item when you turn in the Hero of the Mag'Har quest. Currently (as of 02/10/07) it is "Working as intended". Usually the insignia stats would change based on the class of the character (i.e. Insignia of the Horde)

Great for enhancement shaman too. There's a very similar neck piece from the 1st boss of Heroic Slave Pens for you alliance that want this.

This awesome necklace is one of the rewards obtained from a very lengthy questline which starts from Greatmother Geyah in Garadar. We could say it's better (or just as high quality) as the other, similar following necklaces:

Unfortunately, it's a Horde only quest due to things like the quest steps consisting of Thrall's lore and even perhaps the "blood" relationship between the Mag'har and the Horde.

However, you must first complete the 3 following quest chains to receive it: (in addition to being level 66+ of course)

1) The Blademaster chain - https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=10107 (should be solo-able)

2) Altruis the Demon Hunter chain - https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=9983 (a party is recommended)

3) The Murkblood quests (murkblood invaders https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/quest=9872 as well as the escort quest out of sunspring village) (should be solo-able)

Although this may seem alot, the completion of all these questlines are definitely worth it. Not only do they each offer superior quality rewards, reward alot of gold, give out a tremendous amount of EXP and rep points with the Mag'har, there is also a fascinating lore behind Thrall's Greatmother. The ending event is also quite cool. Happy questing in Nagrand!

I doubt it. this arises on the fact that nagrand is the orc homeland, and is handsdown the best quest ever if you're a lore freak like me lol. this involves the orcs coming to azeroth, finding a home, and reclaiming our noble heritage. there is no alliance equiv for that...esp since this is the ORC homeland.

This is a very well balanced neck; good offensive stats with a fair amount of stamina. Used this until I got the pendant of triumph.

Quest reward.
The quest line starts at great mother in nagrand as far as i can tell. Still working on it. Starts after finishing every quest in garadar

the best neck for physical DPS until epics. passed on kara epics to more needing individuals, this thing is comparable to most of the early purps.

and yeah, looks like horde only? lucky us.
