Wish there was more info on where this dropped... random world drop maybe? It's a great gem.

Commentaire de MattHock

Indeed, random world drop.

A comparable gem is available from Honor Hold/Thrallmar - 8 damage instead of 9, but far easier to acquire.

Honor Hold/Thrallmar gem, however, is unique. This gem is not.

I can make this gem. Got it off a SH run last night.

Honor Hold/Thrallmar gem referenced above is Stark Blood Garnet. (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=27777)

it may be easier to get, but it is unique-equipped meaning you can only have one of the Stark Blood Garnets (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=27777 ) on you at once. You can fill every gem spot on your armor with this one.

Commentaire de 157765

will this sell for 700g or more? cos this just dropped for me and none on AH, so i'm not sure how much should i sell it :(

Commentaire de 158378

some stupid guy sold it on ah for 15Gold :) and now i got it :)

Commentaire de Allakhazam

Could someone explain to me why this one's so expensive? Sold it for 250 on first whisper - could have had more, but I didn't know then.

So the guy I sold it to told me it's because the Ruby is of color red and thus demanded or what?
I haven't got the hang of the gem business yet...

Commentaire de Allakhazam

Dropped of an oger in the north-west of Nagrand.
Sold it for 360 gold.

Commentaire de Allakhazam

Someone put this up for 20g BO... I was so excited to buy it :)
