^ I re-read this comment I wrote.. in my anger i left out the most important part :) I paid 9g for the Gnomish Power Goggles Plan. 9g and I can't make it, and probably by the time I can, I'll already have something better. (Spellfire Cloth is a neccesery material needed to make gnomish power goggles). It is the only "plan" that hasn't been fixed yet. It really is ridiculous. Maybe its not blizzard that is the jerk but me being the sucker that i chose this proffesion.

Blizzard screwed engineers with this as it did not exist ever in the game. There was no way to make it/ farm it/buy it etc...

It is now spellcloth and engineers are still not ahead.

The "Spellfire Cloth" item required to make them does not exist in the game -- there is a "Spellcloth" created by specialized tailors, but that item doesn't work to build these goggles.

hmm guys!i need hel'p..i'm enginering and i can't create my epics head if i dont find this...but i never find spellfire cloth at AH and teiloring tell me he can't make!where i can find?

This stuff doesn't even exist, how are you suppose to make those engineering goggles with this as a material!

im tailor / engineer and im no closer at making these then any one else :P this cloth hasnt been found/made by any player i have ever heard of. So the recipe exists but thee mats dont.... would rather have it the other way around tbh cuz this is just torture :)

GM said that the cloth is correct, and that it isn't the crafted one at all - he said that it is a drop in an instance that doesn't exist yet - personally I prefer the bug idea - I ground all the mats, and made the cloth, and bought the gems - Torture is right! jus look how cool I look:

Umm. . .i hope to god these are all old comments
This is an easy reciepe to find and an easy item to make. Only problem is that it has a , I believe, 4 day cool down

I dont even get what there saying lol. All you need is Primal Fire x1 Primal mana x1 and a Bolt of imbude netherweave. Theres is a 3 day 22 hour cooldown. You can get the recipe at the Spellfire trainer in lower city in Shatt for 5g. When you go to netherstorm to create it make sure if ure lower then 70 to have sombody help you because a level 70 spawns and does some big damage. When you kill him he usually drops like 2 or 3 Motes of mana and motes of fire. Ive done this a few times and ive gotten 2 clothes a few times and 1 clothes the other times. Hope this clears up some Problems.

As of 2022-09-25, making spellfire cloth does NOT incur a cooldown.
I did this three times in a row to double check, zero cooldown.
In exchange, there is no buff as mentioned from the original expansion days.

Netherstorm Agents definitely don't help you (the suit & sunglass wearing goblins by the entryways).
You have to be by the big ogres that actually SAY they're Area 52 Bruisers.

Looted motes of mana & fire ranged from 1 & 1, 3 &3, to 3 & 2 (fire). Not a huge ROI, but it isn't too bad.

For a fire mage at lvl 70, the Angered Nether-Wraith is quite doable but they can still hit a bit hard -- one attack took out almost half my mana, drained via mana shield.
I would recommend each class do these spellfire cloths one at a time, aka don't blithely click "Create All" (specially if you want to get that 30%+ damage credit on the wraiths for loot to drop), at least not until like lvl 80 or something, lol.
