Cost after 2.0:
12000 Honor and 40 Arathi Basin Tokens.

Commentaire de tobarstep

Why is our screenshot of this on a NE rogue? A NE can't get this weapon, and a rogue would be stupid for wasting all those marks and honor on it.

Commentaire de Dimish

Are there any better ones in the early outlands, wouldnt want to farm honor for this just to replace it a bit later. Awaiting your answers, soon to be lvl 58 priest

Commentaire de QFred

Farming for honor rewards is never worthy unless for lvl 70 gear. This kind of gear was pretty good for non-raiders before BC, and getting that much honor wasn't as easy as it is now. Even then, with the honor rewards revamp, it would be more useful to farm for the daggers + OH or the staff.

This dagger was worth the invested time to get to exalted with AB before the honor revamp. Not as much worth the famring since the honor revamp. Not worth any expense since BC.

Commentaire de Moodknight

a rogue holds this on screenshot....im crying....

Commentaire de Thottbot

Why are we arguing over who can use the dagger? It's a fsking rep. reward, it's not like you guys are gonna be rolling on that crap, anyway. :(

Commentaire de Thottbot

Rep is gonna be easier to get, so im excited!

Commentaire de Thottbot

In AB you now get 10 rep for every 200 resources 'gathered'.

Resources required to win AB: 2000
Reputation gained per 200 'tick': 10
Total reputation gained per AB win: 100 (2000\200x10)

This is of course in addition to the 50 reputation gained from handing in the 3 AB honor marks thus equalling each AB win to give 150 reputation.

I was almost revered with AB when they increased the reputation gain & have now been exalted for some time. I think previously the rep-per-tick was around 330 resources. Assuming you are revered, thats another 21,000 rep to exalted. So:

21,000\150 = 140 WINS required to get AB exalted. Of course you will never win 140 AB's in a row :)

As a time frame, the AVERAGE wait time on MY realm is 20 minutes...the AVERAGE match time per battle on MY realm is 20 minutes...so thats 40 minutes per AB...40 minutes x 140 wins = 93.33 hours on AVERAGE of PURE AB to get exalted :-)

Ironbark staff or Mindfang+AV offhand?

(assuming u have Exalted rep in AB/AV)

Commentaire de Thottbot

Can't disenchant PvP Gear.

Commentaire de Thottbot

Since it is not unique (unless they change with with BC) would a shaman duel wielding this be any good? I think it might be a waste of time because of 2h since you would be in Enhancement but IDK.

Commentaire de Thottbot

As soon as they make the dual wield skill available to other classes then hunter, rogue and warrior, using two mindfangs might be an option. AS for now, the individuals needing this item have to resort to using one mindfang + spelldam enchant and an offhand.
Since in pvp u (as a mage like me) might want use as many different instants as possible to take out ur opponent before he gets you (meaning all schools of magic), so I would certainly recommend the tome with +33 spelldamage iso frost / fire / etc...
Am i making any sense?

Commentaire de Thottbot

This item is no longer one-hand, it is now main hand.

Commentaire de Allakhazam

and elemental shammies... I'm halfway there... fricking living in AB though... shoulda jsut gone on Azuragos raids

Commentaire de Allakhazam

If a rogue equips this, i will mark him the biggest idiot in the history of the world! Caster dagger btw

Commentaire de Allakhazam

Well now in 1.8 i am actually getting this for my rogue if AV does not come up again (It is really dead at ravencrest atm).

Since the nerf of daggers like shanker i need a nice mainhand weapon (and since i dont PvE this BG rewards is all i will get) and this one is pretty ok to use until AV is back up, this or heartseeker hmm :) either 92 top end damage with 1.7 in speed and +1% crit, or 95 top end with 8 stamina for 43 golds :)

bah i use this one until lobotomizer :)

Commentaire de Allakhazam

Well if your are a rogue that has sucky weapons u can use this anyways it has + armor and stamina....damage is ok but it is better then Julie's dagger that I am using still. This dagger is more for shamans, mages, preist, and warlock and maybe Hunters becuase of the crits of spells.

Commentaire de Allakhazam

No, this dagger is really for any caster that wants a decent one hand weapon that don't have time to get to Warlord or go to instances. Just because it only has stamina doens't make it good for a warlock only.

Commentaire de Allakhazam

nice dagger

Commentaire de Allakhazam

+Stamina and +Spell damage, just what Mages need.

Commentaire de Allakhazam

If I had to chose one class, it'd be a lock for this item. OTher than that, it's fine for any caster class that can benefit.

Commentaire de Allakhazam

OMG such a rogue weapon!

Commentaire de Allakhazam

If you're a rogue and actually work all the way up to Exalted with AB just to get it, you are severely wasting your time. In the time it takes to do that you could have gone on several runs to different places and a nicer dagger would have dropped for you.

Lame glaciaire = Revered with AV, easier to get and better for rogue, so if nothing else work on that instead.

Commentaire de Allakhazam

Oh yeah, Rogues are total noobs if they get this -.- Like WTF ?Do you think Rogues that carry this thing around Wields it because their frostbolt scores 30dmg higher and it crits more ? Dont you think they might just ignore the spell stats, because they cant get any better dagger ?
Not everyone is in a imba pve guild, and those of you who have posted comments just like;
" I seriously hope ur joking...

If not:
1.) your an idiot or
2.) you can't read

In either case it's spell crit not physical, so ROGUES ur dumb if you have this! "

Can`t be very smart themselves.
