Wintergrasp: You can do this anywhere within Wintergrasp. Remember that much of it becomes a no-fly zone while the event is up. Just nip into an out of the way corner.

Naxxramas: You must be inside the raid instance and in a raid (you can't do this alone, but you only need 1 other person to convert to a "raid"). Again, just pop inside the raid to do your work.

Culling of Stratholme: All you have to do is enter the instance; there is no particular place you need to drop it.

Gurubashi Arena: With this one, you have to be inside the PvP arena to do your drop. You can't go to the walls outside, even if your system is telling you that you are inside Gurubashi Arena. Make sure your minimap says "Battle Ring".

Arathi Basin: This one specifically states that you need to drop it at the Blacksmith inside Arathi Basin. Anywhere in the blacksmith area will work.

"Both Bouquet of Red Roses and Bouquet of Ebon Roses can shower players with rose petals, but these are not a substitute for Handful of Rose Petals for other achievements."
not correct, i managed to get credit for both "Flirt with Disaster" and "Fistful of Love" with the Bouquet of Red Roses. it has a 5 minute cd though which is annoying, so you might still be better off going with the consumable petals.

you also list the Red Roses as dropping from vanilla bosses, i've not tested but i heavily doubt this is the case. during Winter Veil the santa hats which previously dropped in vanilla/tbc dungeons didn't anymore, and archived wowpedia page says they did the same for wotlk's valentine's event.

A great way to farm Hübscher Glücksbringer/Hübscher Glücksbringerarmreif is in Eiskrone near The Fleshwerks (around 38,70) where Auferstandener Soldat and Beschworener Soldat spawn, it's a small area and these mobs respawn REALLY fast, are level 80 and have around 4k health.

Also, the Hübscher Glücksbringer are not looted, they are generated directly into your inventory (just need to have Sammelset für hübsche Glücksbringer in your bags), and more importantly, they are generated for everyone in the party, no matter if you did the killing blow or even if you hit a mob. So, if you are farming the place, don't be an ass and invite others too! Spread the love!

My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose

It appears this is NOT a 100% drop. just did BRD and nothing dropped.
