This is an easy quest when you get hold of it.

The Argent crusade camp is located south of the Corp'rethar gate.

The commanders are just like fighting a NPC valiant or player at the Argent tournament grounds. Keep up Defend. Take down his shield with Shield break. Charge and thrust! Rinse and repeat. Tip: take the one with the weakest defence around him (3 red shields)

The gargoyle scouts are easy but annoying. Hit them 2 times with shield break and they die, but they have a fast spawn rate.

The Boneguard footmen: There is alot of them, they look scary, the spawn fast, and still they're not a problem. As the quests says:"Do not fear the masses of boneguard footmen, <name>, for they can easily be trampled under your horse's hooves" You simple have to ride into them and you get the kills.

The catapults can be taken down from range with Shield break. They cant attack themselves and they wont agro anything else when they get hit so just spam shield break.

The gargoyle scouts are easy but annoying.

It's far from easy. Those gargoyles are deadly when you fight Boneguard Lieutenant, since their lightning will get rid of your shield quickly then you will take huge damage from the lieutenant. That said, if you have a friend to help you, this quest becomes super easy.

Just because you CAN do a quest alone, doesn't mean you HAVE to. Grouping up helps with killing the Commanders, but it also helps with just completing the quest. If there are 5 separate people, they have to wait for a total of 25 lieutenants to spawn, and try to beat the other guys out on tagging them first. If they all form one group, you just need to kill 5 lieutenants, don't have to try to get in a "fast first shot" and can go around and pick off the scouts that are pestering everybody else.

Pro tip: grouping does not give you cooties.

Ok just for everyone's information the mounts they tell you to get on they are located at the camp so no one makes the mistake of actually taking a mount from the tent to the location.

This quest is pretty easy really. Here's how I did it:

Head to the camp (49,71). Equip lance and jump on a horse. Now for the fun bit...

First of all, get your shields up (button 4) until full. The Scouts are closest to the camp and off to the sides mostly. Get in range of shield breaker (button 2) and launch your attack. Your spear, flying through the air to the the scout will prompt an attack. At your earliest opprotunity launchy another shield breaker which will kill the Scout. Finally, shield up. Doing it this way, the Scout only has chance to launch 1 or 2 attacks. Just remember to heal as soon as you leave combat

Next head south towards the Lieutenants, shield up again, and launch a sheild breaker. The Lieutenant will come running towards you and will pull Footmen with him. No worries, just run around the Lieutenant and you will kill all the Footmen with him. It doesn't take much to kill the Luitenant, just a bit of sheild breaker and a bit if thrusting (button 1) and a bit of sheilding, so stay close to where you started the attack to avoid pulling any scouts.

If you're trying to do this alone, it sucks.

The scouts and footmen are easy, but the lieutenants are almost impossible. They can shield and hit much faster than you can.

I'm going to try it a bit more, but this is most likely the end of the tournament for me. I like fun, not frustration.

EDIT: Dropping this for the same reasons I don't slam my head against a brick wall "Because it feels so good when I stop".

Remove all your gear before mounting up.
Your mounted abilities won't be affected and if you get dismounted and killed you won't have to pay for repairs.

I've figured out how to deal with the commanders,what you have to do is get your shield up to three,
pull one of them with shield breaker,and then just run in a semi circle around him and spam shield breaker,
got three of them down,and didn't even have to heal.

I just used shield breaker on the flying guys and charge on everyone else. Pretty easy.

Just a tip in case you make the same mistake I did: make sure you're trying to take down the Lieutenants (who have only one shield), not the Commanders (with three shields). I didn't notice they were two different units, and was practically tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to take one down. The Lieutenants go down easy.

I dont know if it was lag, but I just killed the 10 scouts by not using a mount. They just stood there staring at me while I blasted away at them. Made it quite easy.

The DEFINATE way to take down the knights AND my first post here:

1. Mount up, soldier!
2. Shield-stack to 3
3. Spot yourself an enemy knight with only 1 shield, NOT 3!
4. Charge that sucker with your number 3 ablility! That will take him down to half health already... Also he'll lose his last shield.
5. Depending on your positioning, use either one more charge or a few shield breakers to mess him up for good.

Personally I like to heal at this point to get into the next scrap at full health...

Just discovered that if you're not on the quest, you won't be able to see the camp or the mobs and thus, unable to assist anyone who is on the quest. The entire thing is phased for the quest, it seems.

Hunters beware! You can't Feign Death! if your horse gets killed. Also something else I noticed your Charge abillity's damage does not get reduced if your oppont has stacks of Shield spell on, which means you can beat commanders easily by keep Charging them!

Also if you wanna kill the Scouts very fast without letting them cast the spell that removes one of your shields just use the Spell breaker one time then run to them fast and use the melee attack. This requires the Scout to be close to the ground

first time i did this i didnt pay attention to the instructions... didnt go to the camp and mount up... or even have my lance with me... just flew to the enemies... weird thing is the scouts didnt attack me... they came up to me like they would but never did just hovered there... it was fun killing lv 80 elites while they just stood there looking at me... unfortunately that didnt cary over to the ground units... i died... fast...

I'm frankly puzzled by those posting here that it's easy. I did a straw poll with some other players who said they avoid doing this because they find it impossible. This is an awful quest.

I had problems with this quest myself. The lieutenants are pretty easy to kill by themselves, but they sit in the middle of an army. I tried using charge to take them down quickly, but then you aggro the rest of the army and it's pretty hard to get away without dying. The best way to deal with it is using the above suggestion of using shield breaker to draw them away from the army and then just thrusting them to death since they have no shields and will die quickly, moving around to kill any stray footmen that broke off to attack you. Ideally you would kill scouts around the area you're going to draw the lieutenant towards so you don't have them pinging your shields away.

go to 49 x 72 or Court of bones...there is an argent peacekeeper group where you get your mount. Once mounted then go kill the gargoyles using your number 2 option...takes 2 shots to get each gargoyle. Slay the boneguards and lieutenants using number 1 and 2.
