Finding Apprentice Osterkilgr:

Once you enter head straight forward till you see stairs on your right side.
Go down the stairs, turn left and go to the bottom of the staircase.
Look to your left (under the stairs) and you should see Apprentice Osterkilgr.

To complete the quest just beat him down to around 40%, then he'll give you the information needed, and you can simply kill him.
He will drop Dr. Terrible's "Building a Better Flesh Giant", which starts the quest The Sum is Greater than the Parts, which you should do before leaving The Underhalls.

I believe this could be a reference to the amazingly well done one hit wonder web show Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog.
The book he drops seems on par with Dr. Horrible's style of humor.

My quest didnt work the first time i tried, before i walked into where he walks. If you kill him on too long distance, he might not tell u the information at 40 %.

I engaged him and he died easily, so I waited and the same happened again but it said complete on both accounts

Valhallas, the area where this quest takes place, is the area of the after life in norse mythology.

Thus having this the vyrkul undead area is pretty reasonable. Good job blizz.

Rogues can just gouge him at around 40% of his hp. It turns off your auto attack until you use an offensive ability on him. This may or may not be helpful to some people having trouble getting the info due to killing him too fast.

i have killed him the first time, my thorns killed him from auto damage, i waited 2 minutes the second time he said one thing, im gonna try again but this is frustrating.

Edit: 3rd time still said 1 thing

These co-ords are right but for those not using them, you're looking for a cave entrance that is in the area Valhalas. The name "The Under Halls" didn't even show up until I was practically inside the entrance. On your map you can see the cave entrance located in NE Jotunheim and it's the first cave entrance SW of The Shadow Vault. Good Luck.

Actually, Valhalla is the area for afterlife in VIKING mythology (including Norse) And it is a place of endless battles for the dead Viking warriors

From the Bone Witch's cave you wanna head straight north. You can enter the Underhalls @ 32.7,32.3 (right near the ring in Valhalas).

Once inside, head straight down the hall until you are given the option to go left or right. To the left is a quest NPC, Bethod Feigr, who gives the quest Revenge for the Vargul. You can pick this up, as it can also be completed within Underhalls. To the right is a staircase leading downward and deeper into Underhalls. After grabbing the quest from Bethod (or not) head down these steps. Hang an immediate left and descend the second staircase. At the bottom, around behind the stairs you just came down, you can find Apprentice Osterkilgr wandering around.

To complete the quest just beat him down to around 40% hp and then he'll give you the information needed. There won't even be a pause in combat at this point so basically just head down and kill him.
He will drop a book called Dr. Terrible's "Building a Better Flesh Giant", which starts the quest The Sum is Greater than the Parts. This quest is also done within the Underhalls and should be done before leaving.

The mine entrance is very decorative like a major building. Doesn't look like a mine but the coords are correct and when you get close enough it will say the Underhalls.

I double or triple crit'ed the apprentice (luck shots) and he died before he coughed up the info. Luckily he respawns quick.
Kill him slow.

If you are having trouble with him dying too soon, especially if you are at a much higher level, try setting up a naked armor set, flying high and dismounting then accepting resurrection sickness, and then using Foam Sword or Whole Body Shrinka or any huge debuffing toy. Similar tricks work with the "Charging the Batteries" quest where you try to knock down the Phased Devourers to drain them.

We must put an end to his work, but my auguries have been unable to find him. He does, however, have an assistant.

Beat the information out of his apprentice, and then dispose of the body.]
