If you are mounted or shape-shifted (i.e. Druid), you will not start this flight automatically. Simply abandon the quest, shift out/dismount, then restart the quest.

The purpose of this quest seems to be to send you to Coldarra if you haven't been there already. No follow-up quests or new quests are unlocked if you've already done the quests in Coldarra.

I'm not turning in this quest. Every time I want to fly to Coldarra, I just accept and then abandon this quest, and he sends me for free :)

I suppose I'll turn it in once I've finished all my Borean Tundra and Nexus quests.

This quest is quite possibly a reference to the Computer animated cartoon "Tripping the Rift" In name only. Just thought I'd add that in there.

Strange that no-one has coughed up the similarity of the quests's title to the animated series Tripping the Rift... which, I presume, some WoW developers might have heard of.
