Well they says these drop Frostweave? I have yet to see a drop off these mobs or Umbral Brutes. They are also said to drop this at 46% However in 30 kills I have a 0% drop rate of frostweave off these. Has anyone had frostweave drop off these?

Stealth nerfed by Blizz. Drops are virtually nonexistant and exp also got cut in half.

They realized Mages were useful for something. Obviously that was unacceptable.

Got the mighty protection potion. Did some grinding just to verify while waiting for HC 5man tank to finish a quest.
We 3-manned about 200 of these. NO cloth, 7-14s per mob cash. Since we're all 80, no exp so hard to tell on that.
Very definitely nerfed, wowhead should probably update.... Don't know how to trigger that. Obviously linking frostweave cloth #of drops to this mob should be removed.

Not here to show off but to give some people hope... I thought I'd be here all night.

DK tank spec solo pull 15 mobs at a time in dps gear, frost aura. Dropped enchant recipe after about 2 pulls. Dropped D&D, PS,IT, Pestilence, BB. Rinse and Repeat. Rune Tap to heal.

Last time I killed these mobs as a frost mage they were non lootable only the umbral brutes were lootable does anyone have any info on this bug?

I can confirm that as of this posting (April 12, 2009), these mobs still drop the enchanting formula.

It looks like all that loot table they have anymore is silver and the profession recipes and all the other drops were removed however.

All the Enchant Cloak - Superior Nnnnn resistance recipees seem to have a peculiar drop pattern, watch out if you want to farm them for reselling:

1: They will only drop to enchanters even though they are not BOP and can be sold on AH (for quite good money).
2: They will not drop for you when you have learned the enchant (i have looted +thousand Damned Aphotecaries and Cult Alchemists levelling pets and i got nature and frost resitance in about the first hundred, none after i learned it 1). The same may apply if you have in inventory
3 : Drop rate is about 1% (or chance to drop is 1:100, hope for lady luck but be prepared for the worst).Never tried Frostbrood though, probably better drop rate but worse to grind.
