The mysterious "baby" spot in Nagrand has been revisited on patch 2.1.0. Now the actual Challe NPC - as stated in the kindergarden name plate - has been added, as well as some children playing around.

She seems nice since she tells you to keep quiet because the babes are sleeping. Although the fact that there are cages with bone remains behind the tent can give some shivers.

I asked a GM before the patch what was the purpose of this location, and obviously he "could not" tell me.

I took my blood elf orphan there on children's week, to see if any hidden blizzard style event would ocur, or Challe give any special quest. But nothing happened thou.

Challe remains a mistery :)

PS: Her location is 51;14 in Nagrand. Only accesible by flying mount. She's a lvl 70 friendly humanoid

I was discussing this with a GM, and he said it brings a whole new meaning to the Amani' Stew. I also asked him if trolls eat children, and he said he asked the one sitting next to him, and she said yes, they like 'em much. why can't it just be blizz's take on a mother or parenting in general? the skele behind the house is in a cage this could be like a time out thing(for kids it seems like such a long time so a dehydrated tauren in a cage behind the house is like how they always complain about the length of time but won't leave out of fear(trolls r scary)) the meat in the dog house it just food,blizz usually leaves disgusting meat like that as a way of representing meat (better this than the pig model). the "stew" could be food 4 the babies(once again blizz is limited on models for food).

another posiblity: over worked baby sitter. dead tauren(she never let him out i guess she forgot idk) dangerous toys (the goblin bombs)in a sand box and a hella lot of babies.
If she were a canibal dont you thing chaddo and sa 'rah would of tried to escape somehow?

things to think about:
1)How did the babies get there? according to most npcs around 1-3g is alot of money and according to budd's expedition in ZA mounts r expensive so think about flying mounts(super rich to npcs)
2) goblin bombs with no goblins?
3)there are lvl 68-71 npcs surrounding the cliff so why here? bad location
4) names:if you are really interested in this i guess you could check the names to see if they're conected in some way

From the look of her, I'd peg Challe as a Darkspear troll - only a few trollish tribes practice cannibalism, and Darkspear isn't one of 'em.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's a retreat. Sha'tari Skyguard fly small children up to get them out of the bustling city, into a peaceful environment.

Suspicions abound at the nature of the orphanage!

* There's a series of cages behind the hut. Skeletons are inside.
* A large crate of explosives is lying in the sandbox
* The baby Tauren mobile with blood at the base of it

One does wonder if Challe is in fact an evil, child-eating witch of the storybook variety. I've always wondered why that one orc boy is hiding under the kodo bones in the sandbox instead of playing with the other kids...

nice points its indeed strange lol i hope blizz will do somethin in future like reveal more about this i doubt it tho .. she should be killable maybe lol but its cool in wow secrets like these also near the horde town there in nagrand on a floating isle thing theres a skeleton with a axe cleaved in the skull and the tree got apples and theres a bag means some dude was picking apples and some1 cleaved his head lol

Prior to Blizzard's rampant censorship push, (they had a big and controversial problem a couple of years ago), the sign at the gate read "Challe's Home for Little Tykes"

A tyke is a small child in British English although it is quite old fashioned. But... it is possible that a much older person, as in a pensioner like me lol, might know a rather archaic alternative meaning. It's a derogative term for a Roman Catholic. Thus the censorship. I suspect the young interns at Blizzard used a database of derogative words and this one popped up. Oh Blizzard!
