This guy isn't an actual NPC.

He yells out the captures of towers and graveyards in Alterac Valley.

Like other NPCs used for quests and whatnot, this is only in WoWHeads database because script from "Herald" appears ingame.

The Herald announces the capturing of graveyards and mines, the destruction of towers/bunkers, the status of reinforcements (when they run low), and also announces the winner at the end, after announcing that a general has died.

I think this is the guy who announces if you capture something in AV if anyone cares at all :)

The mountain West of Snow fall, hes up there, hard to see from far away but i uesd an ornate spyglass, he's an orc sitting up there with some books on a table and a telescope

he is actually back in the starting place of AV
in the caves

each side has their own

you can only kill him (on ally) if u go into the horde cave and defeat all his lvl 71 elite guards and wolves....

vice versa for horde :D

i went on my private server and ".npc spawn"ed him. what does he look like? nothing. at first i thought nothing appeared, but i /target herald to find a portrait with nothing in it. weird!
