Basically a restless soul.

Through quest text you can clearly make out that she is blind. She initially mistakes you for a delivery boy, which leads you to get a package in the barn adjacent to her house. After you get the package it is off to the under city. As it would turn out, the package is to be delivered to the local %^&* roach vendor. Some hilarious quest text later, you are back at the house with half of a good luck charm. Janice requests you find the other half of the charm, which would turn out to be dropped by a jabbering ghoul patrolling around the field outside her house. From quest text we can gather the jabbering ghoul is her husband. When all is said and done you combine the 2 half's and create the good luck charm. When you give it to Janice she claims a great weight has been lifted off of her soul, and she thanks you deeply.

If you hang around outside the farm house long enough you'll hear a woman's voice calling "I need help!" accompanied by weeping. This is how you found the quest back in the days before we had the low level quest tracking ability.

This is one of the quest chains that made me cry. She screams for help (rare for an NPC) and the quest will take you to Undercity, the pet vendor under the bank bridge is her brother (and part of the quest chain). Eventually you kill her husband (now a ghoul) and take both charm halves back to her. Very sad quest...

The "shh, do you smell something" is an easter egg to Ghostbusters.

She can be in found in the house (the northern building) on Felstone Farm, upstairs in the back. If you have trouble finding the stairs, moving your gamma correction all the way up in the Video Option menu should do the trick.

This npc cries out for help and sobs every so often. Kind of jarring if you aren't expecting it, and really adds to the creepy vibe the plaguelands has.

(39,54) Janice Felstones location

The quest begins with Janice Felstone who is located in the house at Felstone Field (around 37,57) in Western Plaguelands.

She'll ramble on about a package and being stuck in this life. Once you accept the quest, head out to the barn located to the right of the house where you found Janice.

Fight the three mobs if necessary, but the parcel you need is on the floor immediately to the left as you enter the barn.

This is the part that is misleading. Click on the package once, go through the prompts, then click on the package yet again to pick it up for delivery to Undercity.

The guy you need to talk to is in the guild tabard section of Undercity on the left. He'll tell you that the package actually belongs to the roach vendor. See the roach vendor (Jeremiah Payson located under the stairs in UC) to complete this section of the quest.

If you so choose you can then pick up "Good Luck Charm" which leads to the quest"Two Halves Become One".

Honestly I wonder why she is named after a material from demon magic. Makes you think how long this already exist in the Eastern Kingdoms.
