Was about time we got an updated version of the +2 Fishing Enchant!

With the addition of this +5 version, the highest fishing skill you can obtain is raised from 667 to a more rounded number of ~~670~~ - raised to a grand total of 680 due to the addition of Boots of the Bay :)

I just got this formula off an Indu'le Fisherman at Lake Indu'le on the PTR today. I kind of had a hunch so I went down there and it dropped on my second kill. If it doesn't change I'd try these guys for you enchanters looking for this on patch day.

Spent 20 minutes farming all Indu'le Mobs around the lake in Dragonblight and got this to drop in just under 20 minutes from a Warrior.

Note that at the moment this recipe cannot be used for leveling enchanting. I farmed this since Glassfin Minnow are dirt cheap on my server, and made tons of Ethereal Oil only to discover that this recipe reguires Runed Cobalt Rod to use. An item that was removed from the retail version of WotLK.

You can still use this with Titanium Rod, but since you cannot make that one untill skill lvl 425 this enchant cannot give you any enchanting skillpoints untill fixed to be useable by Runed Eternium Rod.

Edit: I too got this recipe from Indu'le Fisherman, so not only the warriors drop it. Killed 11 warriors and 4 fishermen.

From the lake in Dragonblight, it has a chance of dropping from Warriors, Mystics, and the Fishermen around the lake.

A few circuits around the lake and it should drop, it's an upgraded version of the older enchant and makes this currently the highest fishing enchant in the name.

5 Laps around the lake, till I finally received my drop off a Fisherman. I was also killing the Villagers when I reread the above information and noticed that there was no mention on Villagers and so left them off my circuit which made things go faster.

Overall another enchant to farm, not so common as others have reported. It really is just a numbers game and if the RNG is unkind then expect to be there a long time.

Whew this one took me a good hour to farm. Probably over 10 laps of the lake. Started to think I was doing something wrong. But yep. Finally dropped. Stick with it guys!

Dropped for me just now with an Enchanting skill of 110, so I'm going to suggest that — like most other BoP recipes — there is no minimum Enchanting level necessary to get this to drop, as long as you do have the profession. I'm level 80, so I can't comment on the possibility of character level restrictions.

I think it's pretty safe to say that the drop rate is much higher than what's listed. You can pretty much expect it to drop within the first 20 kills

I was preperd for some farming.. Dotted up around 10 guys, run back and looted them.. To find out it droped from the first one i dotted up!

Just dropped for me. I couldn't tell you exactly how many mobs I killed for this, but I did get 2 greens, 47 frostweave, 2 potions, and 15 food items before it dropped, something like 7-9 passes around the lake. Good luck!

Remember this only drops for enchanters. So the drop rate is actually way better than listed here. Since the majority of the kills are from people questing without being an enchanter. I went out yesterday and got it on my 5th kill.

Took me well around 5-6 lapse around the lake. It dropped from a fisherman. It also dropped while I was in a raid, for people wondering if these drop while in raids.
