Appears to be white, but somehow shorter than your average cloak or cape.

Picked this up on my warrior tank the other day. Small upgrade from

but an upgrade none the less. Wish it wasn't so short though >.<

As a Draenei female the length is perfect - full length cloaks look horrible as they bump over the tail :-(

I guess since Falric and Marwyn occupy the same room as Frostmourne, it makes since that they would spend time polishing Arthas' runeblade.
Wait, there has to be a better way to word that...

I just got this cloak after farming Regular HoR all night... as for an "upgrade" over the Platinum Mesh Cloak... bottom line... if you're over the hit cap, the extra parry and 18 Strength do indeed make it an upgrade... but if you're strapped for hit... keep the Platinum Mesh... plain and simple.

Wowhead drop listing is incorrect.
This cloak does
not
drop from Marwyn.
It drops only from Falric.
From Wowarmory:
http://www.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=49832
Drops only from Falric, with chance listed as "Very Low (3% - 14%)".

I would like to know what is the actual drop rate, because most people I know have not seen this ever. I killed Falric about 20 time and I have yet to see it. I'm pretty sure its lower than 14%.

wowhead lists this as a "zone drop" but it only drops from Falric in HoR normal
I was quietly raging after i read that, since every other spec had something simple to farm, but tanks just had to get "lucky"

At the risk of stating the obvious, this is the best pre-raid tanking cloak (unless you're a druid, of course). The
25 valor one
is a decent alternative if you're unlucky with drops, while the
50 frost one
is a big upgrade and will be the first frost piece many tanks will buy.

Here's my long and sad, but ultimately semi-redeeming tale of how I obtained this cloak on my Death Knight tank.
I slowly saved up enough emblems to buy a full set of
Conqueror's Koltira's Battlegear
by running heroics as a scrub DPS. It took me a few wipes (some of which weren't my fault, but most were :P) before I was confident as a tank. I was still using a DPS cloak at the time, so I had a look at the tank cloaks out there and realised that the
Cloak of Peaceful Resolutions
was pretty easy to get. I did a couple quests to get to Friendly with
The Wyrmrest Accord
, bought the
tabard
, ran a few heroics and picked up the cloak. I geared up my tank further and pretty soon that blue cloak was bringing down all my shiny epics, so it was time to upgrade again.
I had another look at the list of tank cloaks, hoping I could get something better preferably through a dungeon drop. I could, and it was great.
Eerie Runeblade Polisher
is currently the best pre-raid cloak with defense rating (there's also
Sentinel's Winter Cloak
, but I'm not going to spend 25 days running random heroics for my meagre two
frosts
a day to buy it). The best thing about it was however, that it dropped from normal Halls of Reflection. I tanked it fairly easily, and it took me a couple runs before it dropped for the first time, which is where this sordid part begins.
The group I was in was great, I was comfortably holding aggro and we were going fine with the spirit waves. There was however, an Orc warrior who was only able to manage 791dps, while the other two DPS were maintaing at the very least three times that amount. Even I was doing 1562dps tanking. No big deal I thought. We downed Falric and the cape dropped. I rolled need and expected to get it, but the Orc warrior rolled need as well and unfortunately won; 36 to 18. It was at this point I realised why he was doing such a low dps; he was in all tank gear. He refused to hand it over, I apologised and left the group. It was a pretty rotten thing to do, but I was so angry I couldn't go on. Then I realised that the Orc warrior was on my realm. He said two other DPS had out rolled him on the cloak while he was tanking, and that he decided to go in as DPS and do the exact same thing to me. I thought that cloak was rightfully mine, and asked him to hand it over again. All I got back from him was "Soulbound". I informed him that there's a two hour grace period on BoP items for situations like this, but never heard back from him again. I armoried his guild, and sent what I thought was a very polite letter to his guild master informing her of his ninjaing tendencies. I wasn't expecting anything, but a /gkick would have been great. I gave up and continued farming for the cloak.
I kept telling the story of how I was ninja'd to my random Halls of Reflection groups, most people were very sorry to hear about it. The next four or five runs didn't yield the cloak, but I did however pick up a
Mourning Malice
, which I thought was a nice little upgrade over an
Edge of Ruin
for a Death Knight tank. I also had a great conversation with some guys while we were waiting for a replacement healer who had disconnected. A few runs later the cloak dropped yet again.
I was greatly relieved, there were even a few grats from my group who knew I had been ninja'd before. To my horror, an Undead warrior rolled need on it too and won; 57 to 53. The other people in my group protested, but he just said "a roll's a roll". I tried to kick him but we were in combat. The healer even tried to let him die, but I think he was on to it and bandaged himself up. When we downed Marwyn he dropped the
Splintered Door of the Citadel
, the pally healer had said she was after it at the start, and as a Death Knight I didn't have any use for a shield. Again there were a few grats from the other people in the group, and again, like clockwork, the DPS warrior rolls need and wins, then swiftly leaves the group like all good ninjas do. It was at this point I noticed another common trait between this and the first ninja; they were both from my realm. Since he wasn't in a guild, I decided I had to do something, so I announced in trade chat that he had just ninja'd twice. For some reason all the trolls were on trade chat; I was told everyone knew he was a ninja (I didn't get that memo >.>), and that MS > OS in a dungeon is bs. There was not much else I could do, so I decided to relieve some stress by killing some Alliance who were on their way to speak to
Elder Darkhorn
for the
achievement
.
While corpse camping, I explained my situation to a lock who was very sympathetic and said that since he can't roll on a ring with attack power on it in random dungeons, warrior's who aren't specced into prot shouldn't be allowed to roll need on def gear either. I couldn't agree with him more. I ran Halls of Reflection a few more times until the cloak finally dropped and I wasn't ninja'd out of it, to my great relief.
I felt sorry for my Death Knight, so I decided to treat him by running Zul'Gurub in the hopes for one of the mounts, but they didn't drop. I gave him a rest and jumped on my Mage for some random Heroics, and this is where this sad series of events ventures into the realm of hilarity.
While waiting in Dalaran for the agonisingly long queue times for DPS, by chance I noticed someone looking for an enchanter in trade chat. It was the first ninja who stole my cloak. I debated what to do for a couple seconds, checked to find out that he was in Org, and ported over there. He was after
Enchant Cloak - Titanweave
, I whispered the link he posted in trade chat back to him followed by a question mark. He asked if I could do it. I said "nps, org bank roof", and I quickly dashed over there. He arrived on a bear mount and /waved at me. I jumped over to him, he opened trade and handed over the mats for Titanweave. Straight away he opened trade again and placed
Eerie Runeblade Polisher
in the "not to be traded" slot. That's right, the same cloak he ninja'd off me. He was eagerly awaiting for his enchant on his nice and shiny cloak, but I couldn't even enchant it if I wanted to; see, I'm an engineer. I whisper to him, "cheers bro, this makes up for the cloak :P'', and begin to teleport back to Dalaran. He says "omfg", and I simply reply "pwnt".
Pwnt indeed.
