Despite the poor set bonuses, this is extremely well itemized. I've not checked yet, but I doubt the off-set piece will be as well itemized, even considering it won't be wasting any iLevel on a craptastic set bonus.

On females, this chestpiece appears as a sort of "tanking bra", leaving the lower abdomen exposed.

Because of its odd color scheme, few shirts match it. However, I was able to find one that does pretty well - the Thug Shirt, part of the troll rogue starting outfit.

I wear it with mine; it appears as a single continguous outfit, which is really nice.

On the current version of the PTR, the chest has been changed, and no longer shows the belly, which really sucks :(
