These gloves provide a great ammount of destruction warlock pwnage.

According to elitistjerks, a destruction warlock's priorities are as follow:

Hit rating
Spell Power
Haste rating
Critical rating
Spirit
Intellect

Assuming you're using dual Runed Scarlet Ruby (which you should be, due to it being the best non-jc non-meta gem around, at 26.67 dps), you would benefit from the socket bonus, making these allready great gloves ideal for any warlock. In fact, as long as the t8 gloves wouldn't give you another set bonus ( = you have an odd ammount of t8 pieces), these ones are the best gloves currently avaliable for the destruction warlock.

Edit2: I'm getting downrated by some people, and I cannot understand why. I'm just pointing out the fact that these are BiS for warlocks, not that a warlock should get them prior to anyone else that needs them.

From Wikipedia, for those wondering what exactly a "pulsar," is.
Pulsars are highly magnetized, rotating neutron stars that emit a beam of electromagnetic radiation. The observed periods of their pulses range from 1.4 milliseconds to 8.5 seconds. The radiation can only be observed when the beam of emission is pointing towards the Earth. This is called the lighthouse effect and gives rise to the pulsed nature that gives pulsars their name. Because neutron stars are very dense objects, the rotation period and thus the interval between observed pulses are very regular. For some pulsars, the regularity of pulsation is as precise as an atomic clock.

An obvious fit to Algalon since he looks like a constellation, and because most of his items are space-themed. (For a lack of a better word.)
